AndrewKeymasterI’ll report it to their support team. What device are you using?
AndrewKeymasterBecky is correct. Metronome only works in synthetic mode. Check out the 2nd video on this page and jump 6 minutes into it to learn how to switch between video, audio and synthetic.
Looping works for all modes. If you are having any issues using it, please make sure your browser is up to date. Let me know if issues persist.
AndrewKeymasterWelcome, Greg! Hope you join us in a monthly challenge soon 🙂

AndrewKeymaster@lakeside339 – Well done! The only suggestion I have is to grab the B note on the G string (bar 3) for the G7 chord with your pinky. That way the other 2 fingers can remain fretted and the chord rings out. Keep up the good work!
@marni11 – Beautifully played! One thing – and this is something we’ve talked about before – Your thumb looks like it’s bent at the joint. We always want to keep it straight, aim for placement that is slightly above the middle of the neck. Check out this guide to see exactly where that is.
@rickeymike – Well done Rickey and welcome back!! Only thing I can suggest is to work towards increasing the tempo – but keyword: gradually. Focus on 4 bars at a time.March 22, 2020 at 4:03 pm in reply to: Participate in the March 2020 Member Challenge – Classical Themed! #36348
AndrewKeymasterlisadmh – I thought that was brilliant, Lisa! I can tell you put a lot of work into this. Moving forward, I’d work on increasing your sustain. And the best way to do that is to slow the tempo down so you can focus on that one aspect. Keep up the great work!
andrewvh – Well done, Andrew! As you continue to practice, I’d recommend slowing the tempo down and focusing on getting the notes to have more clarity. Check out this lesson as Matt touches on this subject and others related to it.
johanna2509 – Great playing! Notes and chords have a good feel and sustain. The one thing I’d work on is getting the piece to have a more consistent flow. For example, if you listen to the first four bars, they flow extremely well. But the piece gets more difficult in the following bars. This increased difficulty makes it harder to play, and if you try to play at the tempo of the first four measures before you have it 100% hundred percent down, it can sound a bit choppy.
So I’d take two or four bars at a time and just loop them (at a slower tempo). Then go back and add the first four bars while keeping the tempo consistent.
becky7777 – Great job, Becky! I’d work on keeping the tempo a bit more consistent before implementing free time or rubato. Last month, I made this video for a member and it touched on how rubato is subtly used to create a natural feel. I think that video will give you a few ideas on implementing this concept.
katazumiri – Excellent job! Great timing and beautiful ritardando. The only thing I can suggest is to work on increasing the tempo a little bit. Keep up the great work!

AndrewKeymasterWelcome, @tric_o_tronic! Check out this page for some tips on where to start with our lessons 🙂
Have fun and don’t hesitate to post questions on the forum if you ever need help on the lessons!
AndrewKeymasterThe trick is creating neck stability through the index finger by using form 2.
Give that a try and if you need extra help, please post a video of you playing and I’ll be happy to confirm no other issues are present 🙂
AndrewKeymasterPerformance sounds great! For vibrato, check out this lesson. It covers everything I could think of about that technique.

AndrewKeymasterraffybaking – beautiful playing! I shared this on our social media 🙂
The one thing I’d recommend trying out is the fingering suggestions I gave in the lesson video for the first two chords of bar five. Try that fingering, it should make that section a lot easier to play. And great job on the adaptions you made to make this piece sound great on high G.
erino7 – well played, Courtney! Keep up the great work 🙂
AndrewKeymasterMy pleasure! If you use the site with your phone, it puts everything in a scroll top to bottom form, kinda like facebook. So that’s understandable to miss it.
