    @surferjay, thanks for that info / recommendation! I have been curious about those for a while. I’ve seen people on Twitch use them on music channels and thought they were pretty neat! I think at some point I’d definitely like to get one to try, and that one sounds like a good option! I’m still a pretty newish uke-player, uk… ukiest… uker…………………….. but there are things I’ve wanted to do but physically couldn’t play without playing two ukes simultaneously, like very high up on the fret board while playing lower on the fret board. Obviously, you can “stretch” the boundaries somewhat there, but the good Lord only gave us each two hands, with which to play upon a uke. LOL.

    Anyway, this recording of yours was very lovely! I like that you keep going with your recordings even with interruptions. Lol.

    @surferjay, hehehe well, everyone starts somewhere! I think it’s so cool when ideas are borrowed and reinvented and overlayed from multiple sources like that.

    Also, I love that song. When I had a piano I used to love to improvise with that song. Not anything so put together and neat like what you did, just messin’ around.

    What you’re using to do that is called a looper, right? Hope that’s not a dumb question.

    @Andrew, thank you kindly! I will continue recording under water then! 😅😂

    No one needs to know the explanation, but I had a fan running while I was recording that ………….. Fail.

    I am bad at so many things.

    This is what Etude No. 5 sounds like on the new uke! I was trying to be dramatic / funny, then messed up. But here it is.

    Here is my entry for this month’s challenge!

    I wanted to share for fun ‘n’ feedback and to share my progress, but would like to be excluded from the prize drawing because I literally won last month, lol. I am uke-fat now. The bamboo uke is beaut though!

    Sorry that it literally sounds like I recorded this underwater. I need to step up my recording game… a lot.

    Oh, also, Etude No. 5, is a lovely one! It took a while to learn.

    Also also………………… Everyone did an amazing job this month! I watched all the entries; they’re all so good! 😀

    @robinboyd, hahahahahaha!! Absolutely brilliant! Love that one! 😂 Yeah, that’s pretty much me when I sing but unintentional of course. 😅

    @madz_about_uke
    , haha of course!! Glad that it did! 😁

    @lhamilton, oh, that’s so exciting! Ha, maybe if I hit another wall of struggle, I could ask you, because I feel like you’ll figure it out faster than I will, lol! 😉

    @lhamilton, oh, that’s good to know! Thank you kindly!

    You know, I just realized that is the learning series that was linked in a card with my uke, but the problem was I looked up “tenthumbspro” manually, and didn’t do the bar code scan on my phone because I am sometimes bad with phone technology. I am in the front seat of the struggle bus at all times, lol. Thank you! 😀

    @madz_about_uke, I have never really tried transposing on a uke like that, not a full song like that yet, but that seems to make sense, lol! Just out of curiosity, would it work if you sang lower, but played the uke music as it is?

    I don’t think you sound unnatural at all, I thought it was lovely! I feel like it’s always good to push the limits of what you normally do, as long as you aren’t pushing too hard and getting stressed.

    I enjoy picking a uke song ridiculously beyond my skills to play, then just going for it! But I don’t find that stressful; that’s where I feel like I grow the most and thrive the most, and what I love to do on the uke. One of the first songs I tried to learn was Cello Prelude No. 1 by Bach. I love complicated fingerpicking, classical songs on uke (well, Baroque in that case?).

    Thank you kindly, madz!! I still feel so honored and blessed to have won! 😀 I genuinely still can’t believe it, lol. There’s so much potential with it, too, and so much to learn. Very overwhelming. I feel like my brain is what’s in overdrive……. ;] I wonder if they may give away the other electric ukes that I didn’t pick, though? I don’t know how that works. I’m brand new to the site, too, and this happened. LOL. Thank you, though!

    Thank you both so much, @fmattheus and @lhamilton! Both of those videos helped tremendously! 😀

    For some reason I really struggled to find that information (probably because I am a total newbie at all of this). I feel more empowered now to tinker in a somewhat more knowledgeable, controlled fashion, lol. Thank you!

    Beautiful, @Madz_About_Uke!! 😀

    It’s neat that you can sing outside of your natural range of singing. I can only sing in the key of cringe. But this is so lovely! I’m so jealous! 😉

    @Andrew, thank you so much! 😁 It’s so much fun and there’s so much potential with it! I have plans… 😅

    @annemarie, hehe, thank you so much! Once I got it working and figured out how to make it “spicy” with the overdrive, I was blown away by the sound and feel of it. Still struggling a bit to figure out what the switches on the uke itself do, and couldn’t find much information about that. 😳 But trial and error is the key. 😅

    The amp I ended up getting was this one:

    For now I went for the cheapest one that was decently reviewed and it works pretty well, but Andrew recommended this one (that I fully intend to get one day, once I have spare coins):

    But yeah, I will defs upload other videos of the uke in action because it’s pretty neat! 😉😅

    @nelsonlin2021
    and @lhamilton, thank you kindly, friends! I’m still so excited by the neatness of it! 😁
