When I strum the ukulele, my right-hand nails usually click against the uke and make ugly clicking sounds (like when you play the piano with long nails). Do you have any suggestion to help with that?

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for pointing that out! And yes, my thumb can naturally bend 90 degrees backward by itself so it’s a little more effort to keep it straight. I never really thought about that!

Hi guys,

This is my best attempt after 25647715 failed records. I have been sleeping for 4-5 hours per day for the past month but been practicing for at least 5 min per day, a little more in days that I’m free (like today), never skipped once. I’m just a newbie but hope to play well one day. Andrew has been really helpful in his videos and I just love learning from Rockclass 101’s channel. Thank you so much! Please give me some comments for my video if you have time 😊

Hi Taimane, how long should my nails be for fingerpicking? And how hard should I pick the strings? Thank you!
