leb397ParticipantI’m revisiting the Waltz in 4/4 time. Hopefully I can improve on cleaner cords.
In the midst of a full kitchen Renovation so less time to practice than usual 🤞. Just getting it back into my memory will make me happy.

leb397Participant@andrew I’m thinking of relearning Mika’s 4/4 Waltz, which is so beautiful. I want to play with a low G. It sounds good to me. My 2024 entry was with a high G. Can I use the low G?

leb397Participant@morrieuke1 that was lovely. So nicely played 👏
@Dianna well done. Certainly not an easy piece.
@nat-uke bravo since I also played Blue skies I applaud. Pretty along with background.
@the_bumble_bard I’m really starting to love the tremolo! So cool you adapted it to song. Once again your creative talent ring out on all fronts. Thanks for comments. We’ve returned to home and already spring is in the air. I feel replenished with sunshine to get me through till spring fully blooms.
Congrats to all the great entriesFebruary 27, 2025 at 5:13 pm in reply to: Participate in the March 2025 Member Challenge – Rewind & Replay! #65786February 23, 2025 at 5:58 pm in reply to: Participate in the February 2025 Member Challenge: Strumming or Fingerpicking #65710

leb397Participant@grannieannie thank you. Yikes you must be tired of the snow bound life! Sounds like a lovely place in S,S,Fall.
We will be heading north soon… I highly recommend the winter break 🌞☺️. Look forward to your entry.February 19, 2025 at 8:43 pm in reply to: Participate in the February 2025 Member Challenge: Strumming or Fingerpicking #65652

Thank you for your kind words. Yes I’ve seen the weather across the country and you are getting battered. Where we are there are a lot from WI, MN and MI. I always wonder if anyone is left home because it is filled with the white haired snowbird brigade. 😁 I can certainly relate to the tuna tundra (ha) When I did our January challenge the weather was so gloomy. I kinda wrote a song I’ll post some day, … maybe. but I knew the brighter days were ahead with our annual migration. 🦅🚗🌞. The feeling of being trapped with a box of almost empty box cereal, piece of bread and maybe some dated milk…. 😩 Well we all have RC101 !!!!
Great entries. I could have practiced a bit more to smooth parts but wasn’t sure about internet and ability to record all the time. ThanksFebruary 16, 2025 at 12:22 pm in reply to: Participate in the February 2025 Member Challenge: Strumming or Fingerpicking #65632
leb397Participant@marianne you are an inspiration when I watch you play. So lovely.
@karenj very pretty – and your ukulele sounded so pretty. Is that a new addition – tenor?
@shmu88 very nice! Sounds to me like you nailed it. A lot to memorize too.
@deadbuggy crazy you could memorize all that… like shmu88, very nicely performed.
@the_bumble_bard – always a pleasure to see your comments and watch you perform. Love that you took Aura Lea and turned it into your own song. I said before, I really like the tremolo and how you own it. Turn everything into tremolo. Kinda like you did with claw hammer – loved those songs too. Keep doing what you are. We love you on this platform 👍👏❤😊 I finally got to some sunny sky weather. By the time we head north, hopefully the worst of the cold/snow will be past.
@emiliano sure hope you can add to your collection. I love my tenor low G. The sound is so rich, I think. Good luck. Love your playing.February 16, 2025 at 11:51 am in reply to: Participate in the February 2025 Member Challenge: Strumming or Fingerpicking #65630 -
