I seemed to pick this one up quite quickly at the start of the month, but then didnt get chance to get much practice in in the middle and end of the month, so had to try and get as much practice in as possible in the last few days. I also apologise for the dark video! Quite happy i got it pretty good on the first take.😊

    Really enjoyed watching everyones entries!

Loving this challenge so far. Allegro feels like the perfect piece to help me progress my fingerpicking right now. Very challenging but achievable with practice, practice, practice 🙂

I have to say it took a good handful of takes to get a decent one. I also put so much effort into trying to get Brahm’s Lullaby down that Twinkle Twinkle little star got sloppy! But here it is 😊

Oh, and sorry i cut off the last little bit!

Edit: Also, as a first time challenger I just want to say a big thank you for creating the best lessons on the web, and for this awesome community. I first picked up a uke in November and thanks to this community ive had it in my hands every day since!

I love watching Taimane perform, demonstrating how versatile the uke is as an instrument and showing that is certainly has a place outside of Hawaiian culture.

    Hi Andrew,

I just started playing a week ago so maybe early days but I have a struggle with this too, but it is in transitioning from form 1 to form 2. It seems like the only way to make this transition is to kind of let the neck drop onto your index finger from the ‘U’ shape, but this slight movement in the neck causes me to miss my finger placement for the next chord.

Im sure it is mainly a case of practice, but I was wondering if you had any tips for that.

    Love the course.
    Scott
