Just a couple questions, if there is a certain song we want to learn that is not on rock class 101 is that ok to do? Also for those who really want to put themselves out there can we play a song with vocals?
I made one or two little mistakes, because of nerves I think. I keep telling myself that I’m still a beginner and that it’s ok if I don’t play it perfectly right away, if I do my best I can only improve from there. So here it is!
Last question for me, is it possible to play the harmonic at the end of aloha’oe by tapping if you have long nails?
In your video teaching Aloha ‘Oe you are playing a tenor ukulele correct? Mine is a concert with no cutaway so I am having a difficult time barring on that twelfth fret, I would appreciate any advice you can give. Also on that chord it feels more comfortable for me to use my ring finger on the first string of the fifteenth fret instead of my pinkie, is that ok for me to do or will it get me into a bad habit later on? Thank you for this challenge since I need to work on my Barr chords and I love how it gets me out of my comfort zone of playing on the first three frets lol. Pretty nervous about playing this one but I am taking it slow learning the song bit by bit and I look forward to this learning experience. Tessie
