@gi_gi_ – things are good. I started a new job last year, so I haven’t had a lot of time to devote to uke playing, but I’m trying to do what I can.

D’oh, when I saw the start of your video, I thought The Explorer was going to be an option. Oh well, I’ll find something

Thanks. I didn’t sell that one. That’s my morning coffee cup

If you’d like to see more of my work, check out my Insta. It’s still fairly new, but I’ll keep adding stuff to it. The setup is nothing fancy though. It’s just an unfinished space under the house. It doesn’t even have a floor

Actually, I do have a wheel and a kiln at home. I got the kiln ultra cheap on Facebook Marketplace. Before that, I used to take my work to a shop to get it fired.

    Nice comic!

Not ukulele-related, but I’ve been making this sort of thing lately.

    I AM A PREMIUM MEMBER

This is terrible. Nobody should watch it.

I just don’t have time to practice since starting this new job, but I’ve done what I could and since I’ve been working on it in what little time I had this month, I might as well upload what I’ve done so far.

I’d try what Janaq suggested first and refine it from there

    Hi gerygg

Rather than try to type it out, I made a video explaining why some things can be done on the guitar but not the uke.

There is also a live lesson on this site that explains why some things can be done on the uke but not the guitar.

That sounds like it’s played on guitar. I’m not sure I could do that on uke…

And I haven’t heard the Aurora cover, yet, but I love her music.

Have you heard the Sarah Blasko cover?

Basically, what I did was add the G string to most of the chords, because the suggested chords only used 3 strings most of the time, but I was also mindful of the beautiful progression that was happening by keeping the A string fretted on the 3rd string and then the 4th string, so I tried to maintain that as much as possible, but I ended up breaking it for the last few chords because I didn’t feel that it was necessary anymore.
