Wham! Here comes my entry for this month’s challenge:
I am celebrating today my 2-year-progress plus that I reached my goal to participate in each monthly challenge.
There is still so much to learn and to improve but I am proud and happy with how far I came.
It would not have been possible without this great music school, I never regretted to sign up for Premium Membership. I am looking forward to the new courses in 2022!Best,
AndreaDecember 20, 2021 at 12:42 pm #49859

Hello, i finaly changed (again…) my low G so i can learn that one to challenge me, and it was very challenging with those quick tricky chords transitions. But i also started learning “last christmas” because i find it more rewarding, less hard but with a super catchy melody. I like both but i really like fingerpicking in “last christmas”.
Thank you all for your tutorials, it’s always a pleasure to play your arrangements.

Here is my December submission of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Despite memorizing the song, I freeze and tense up when it comes time to record and resort to tabs yet again. And sustain goes out the window too. Oh well, I had fun learning the song and am looking forward to playing it for my grandson when I seen him soon! Thanks again for a great lesson.
I wish you all a happy holiday season and a joyous, prosperous, and healthy new year.
Take care,
KarenDecember 20, 2021 at 11:07 pm #49866

brettboy – Amazing feel as always, Brett! And great job on nailing those harmonics in the instrumental breakdown. Watch out for the 2nd bar in the instrumental breakdown. It starts with 2 quarter notes – very tricky change in the rhythm since it feels like everything is suppose to be an 8th.
Thank you so much for your generous donation!
tules14 – Here’s my feedback for you and thank you so much for your generous donation!
turkgoose – Brilliant performance! Keep up the great work 🙂
andyrose – Here’s my feedback for you and thank you so much for your generous donation!
joe150 – Love the ending, Joe! You did a great job on this tune! One tip: check out the video I left above for Andy. It’ll give you an idea on how you can sing/play that opening phrase to help get the timing/rhythm down a little tighter. Also, watch your tempo on this one. Try to go a little bit slower to let that melody shine 🙂

strleeParticipantThank you Andrew for teaching my son Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. His name is Lee Hieu and he is 6 years old. It is his favourite Christmas song. He was very excited to learn it. He loves the song so much that he plays it everyday.

This is my December submission of, Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer, Arranged by Matt Dahlberg.
I had to change the tabs a little so I could use my low G. I cannot seem to play this all the way through without making mistakes. Again this is the best of about 300 takes. Do you have any advice regarding stage/recording fright?
Good luck everyone, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year too!
