AndrewKeymasterOn the tablature, Should there be a 2 on the E string for the last note?
You can play that note, just make sure to play 2 on A as well.
Other than that, in general, if you see more that 1 note indicated (chord, partial chord) it should be plucked if there is no strum notation? pluck instead of strum becomes particularly important in the 13th bar
You can, but there’s no set in stone rule. Really up to you if you like the sound of pluck vs. strum.

P.S. There will be a play along backing track, but we’ll have that ready for you guys to download tomorrow when we publicly release the lesson. 🙂
AndrewKeymasterOK. So, play bar 21 twice. Then jump to bar 23?
Yes
Also in bar 24 and 25 the second note is 14-12. What can I substitute for that note?
The easiest solution would be to sub every 14 for 12.
AndrewKeymaster@holly1 – yes, you can do that. It sounds like an intonation issue with your ukulele.
@rickeymike – I’d play B7 (4) for 2 bars. It also keeps you in position for the next section 🙂June 8, 2020 at 4:31 pm in reply to: Participate in the June 2020 Member Challenge – LAST CHANCE TO WIN Kanile’a! #38480
AndrewKeymaster@flaaaaaame – yes!
AndrewKeymasterBig improvement! 🙂
AndrewKeymasterI’d recommend to omit string 4 for that section. Will make it much easier to play 🙂
Short nails is always best!

AndrewKeymaster@lhamilton – Hi Linda, I’d recommend adjusting your right hand wrist. We want it to remain parallel, instead of bent downwards. This will ensure optimal dexterity. Check out this lesson for further guidance.
AndrewKeymasterAwesome to hear you are making progress! 🙂
AndrewKeymasterCheck this out, Lisa:
AndrewKeymasterHi Rickey, check this out:
Lisa, not sure can you post video?
AndrewKeymasterTry this Rickey: get rid of the 4th string and use the index as partial barre on strings one and two and the middle finger for string 3. That should make it easier. Let me know how that goes.
