Hi Awesomestrings, that should’t be happening. Can you log out and re-log in again and then try to access the full lesson(s). Let me know if that fixes the issue. If you still have problems, let me know what browser you are using and device. Sometimes members have issues with Firefox and IE (now called Edge), although it’s been awhile since I’ve heard of any.

Hi Curly, it is notated in the notation above the tablature. If you’re new to notation, check out this lesson.
But the main pattern is:
1 2 &a (3) e& 4 &a
1 2 &a (3) e& 4I’d recommend to put it into “synthetic” mode on the tab player and slow it down and loop the 2 bar phrase. If you don’t know how to do this, watch the 2nd video on this page and skip 6 minutes into it.

Awesome! And I know… here we are almost over with March and I still haven’t gotten one. True story, I had planned to start low G lessons in October. Soon! I actually was trying some out at Uke Republic this week. And I’ve already got a few lessons planned for when I get one!
Hi Mick, here is a short video with a few ideas to help you practice switching between chords, but making it a little bit more musical, as in more fun than a straightforward exercise.
Thumb should produce a warmer tone. Honestly, I’d need to see you playing it to figure out what’s happening. Feel free to post a video, happy to take a look 🙂
Different woods create a different timbre, which I’m guessing is probably the difference you’re hearing. Honestly, it sounded great to me. 🙂
Much better! But I am hearing that you are swinging the eighth notes, which sounds cool. Just be sure to understand the difference between swung versus straight 8th notes.
