Hi Sheila, apple does not allow “full screen” mode on iOS for the type of embedded content that the tob player is. But, the speed control should be working. Can you try with a different browser, like Google Chrome, and let me know if it works.

    Cheers,

    Andrew

Hi scar_dono, it looks like the video file is too large for the site. Can you upload it to YouTube?

Tomorrow’s lesson on Fingerpicking Etude no. 11 uses the same technique and covers the mechanics behind it in complete detail. Be sure to check out that lesson tomorrow for extra help on this πŸ™‚

It’s a great looper, super simple. I’ve used others like the JamMan before and they are just too complicated.

Welcome Pauline! Sorry to hear about your pain, I know all too well about that as I’ve been playing through issues for the last 6 years πŸ™ I hope it improves for you! Let me know if you ever need any help on the lessons! And yes, a background in guitar is a great start/help for the uke πŸ™‚

Hi Awesomestrings, that should’t be happening. Can you log out and re-log in again and then try to access the full lesson(s). Let me know if that fixes the issue. If you still have problems, let me know what browser you are using and device. Sometimes members have issues with Firefox and IE (now called Edge), although it’s been awhile since I’ve heard of any.

And thanks so much for your support! Really means a lot to me πŸ™‚

Hi Curly, it is notated in the notation above the tablature. If you’re new to notation, check out this lesson.

    But the main pattern is:

    1 2 &a (3) e& 4 &a
    1 2 &a (3) e& 4

I’d recommend to put it into “synthetic” mode on the tab player and slow it down and loop the 2 bar phrase. If you don’t know how to do this, watch the 2nd video on this page and skip 6 minutes into it.

Hi Hannah! Welcome, glad to have you on-board. I release a new lesson every Friday πŸ™‚ I’d be happy to add this tune to our request list. In the meantime, I know Katie from One Music School covered a tune from that movie. Check her out on YouTube, she rocks!
