Thank you for such loving words. Will continue to play & participate. I know it will bring a peace & help the slow but sure healing.

Tom was my love & best friend for over fifty three years.

Love to you & all Rock Class this day.

Tom will be buried in Greensboro, NC tomorrow morning after a graveside service done by his family.

    Andrew,

So grateful for your prayers & overwhelmed by your compassion.

Tom was genuinely interested & happy about my enjoying Rock Class.

He loved rendition of “When I’m Sixty Four. He often encouraged “Mama, you’re getting better”. He’d say, “It’ll come, Mama. Don’t give up.”

I am sure Tom is in heaven where there is no more pain.

Robinboyd, what a blessing you are at the close of a difficult day! Thank you for caring about my great sorrow.

Tom was happy that I so enjoyed Rock Class. He was such a cheerleader as I would struggle to learn monthly challenges.

    Humble gratitude!

    Thank you so much!
This is the saddest time I have ever know but I must rejoice that Tom is home free with no need for oxygen, no more dialysis, no more pain!

I read your posts often & really enjoy them. Amazing how we learn to love friends through this online ukulele class.

You have helped me this difficult day.
    Blessings & love!

Thank you. Thank you deadbuggy. Our family is burying our beloved husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather grandpa Saturday morning. We are having a simple graveside service.

Tom was so appreciative of prayers, kind words & Andrew’s idea of a song for us!

I remain grateful for friendships on Rock Class. This online class has been such a blessing.

You have truly touched my heart in such a special way this afternoon. Much love!

Wow! Overwhelmed with happiness & appreciation to Andrew, Matt & such kind & loving classmates. Ya can’t help but smile as Matt brings to us his rendition of the Beatle’s “When I’m Sixty Four”. Thank you. THANK YOU!

Much gratitude for prayers for my “best bud” as he continues his dialysis for ESRD & struggles with COPD. We now have home health nurses & a physical therapist to do everything we can to keep Tom at home with Maddie (our cocker-spaniel) & me. Thank you for continued prayers.

Rock Class 101 is one of the best things to ever come into my life… especially at this time. I humbly thank God for each of you.

    Hugs, blessings & love,
    Anne

Being February 28, this has to be my final submission. Much in Melody C is lacking but I learned Bouree from notation rather than use of tabulature.

The music reading course is filled with important exercises of which I barely scratched the surface. An excellent course! A promise to keep learning from your “gift” to us all!

A big THANK YOU, Andrew & “hello” to niece, Gracie.

Background accompaniment is patter of Cocker Spaniel, Maddie’s feet, dear husband Tom’s oxygen compressor & his picking up few dishes left in sink. Lol.

    Goodnight, again!

Maybe someone needs a bit of encouragement tonight, as I. The beautiful melody rings in my head but does not transfer to my “less than nimble” fingers. Richest blessings upon all of you this night.

Thank you, Andrew, for being a great teacher & dear friend to us all.

    Bouree enthusiasts, check this out.
    Think you will really enjoy.
I’ve been googling Jethro Tull concerts. Apparently, all over the globe but none near little old Lincolnton, NC.

    Best to all!

    Here is Melody B.
Andrew, I am giving my all & will keep going. Great submissions everyone!

This is played from memory. Finding notes & playing picado is akin to “rubbing head & patting belly” then, switching back & forth!

Andrew, this is only A Melody of Bouree. I am giving my all to learn the complete piece & am reading actual notes vs. ukulele tabs. Will keep going but February is passing quickly.

I realize to qualify for entry for this month’s challenge, the piece must be played in entirety.
