brightwingParticipantHi,
It’s been awhile since I’ve done a monthly challenge, but I took on the Finger Picking Etude No. 32. There was a couple buzzes on the second half; however, this was a fun one to learn and record. Thanks for listening!

brightwingParticipantThanks for the feedback @Stephen. Those high frets are definitely tricky and one of the last parts I learned for the piece. Will keep practicing it your advice in mind, thanks!

brightwingParticipantHello RockClass101,
I tried learning “People are Strange” this month. It was definitely a good learning experience and I have a lot of fun practicing it. Unfortunately I couldn’t get it quite to the point where I don’t get any buzzes.
Thanks!

brightwingParticipant@Andrew thanks for the feedback, it’s much appreciated! I’ll have to include holding that first chord of melody B a bit longer in my practice.

brightwingParticipantHi RockClass101,
I really liked the “Out In The North” by Tobias Elof, and thought I would give it a try on my low G ukulele. It’s definitely really catchy, and I quite enjoy practicing it.
I wasn’t sure if the repetitions were needed for the monthly challenge, but I’ve recorded myself playing what was at the end of the tutorial video (easy chord melody version with no repeats).
The feed back from last month was much appreciated, thanks for all you do!

brightwingParticipantHi RockClass101,
I found RockClass101 through the /r/Ukulele subreddit and love seeing all the tutorials. I’ve been practicing several of the renditions, and have been learning a lot. You guys rock! Thanks for all you do.
I’ve made a submission on my Low G ukulele for Loke Lani. I hope you like it 🙂
Cheers~
