I know I did with great frustration. AND when you want to respond to someone you must use their participant name with “@” before it. 😉

I understand everything you said. Sure wasn’t an easy piece. I started a good 10 days earlier, when Andrew mentioned it would be a challenge song and every day worked on it. However, I was gone 1 week. So towards the end I got nervous I wouldn’t finish. Memorizing- argh…. hard to find repeats to tie it together.
Anyway., glad you posted. I kept looking for others, besides misterbones.@the_bumble_bard I think you are not giving yourself the credit. I thought it was good! Sounded pretty to me ☺️👏👏👏👏 the fact you recorded all is nice. Such a soft moving tune. Well done.

@Andrew thank you. Always appreciate your positive comments and so glad you came through the storm. I struggle so hard with the clarity of notes but will continue to work on it. Nerves get in the way too 🙂
@The_Bumble_Bard thank you ! so glad you are excited for me too!!! I am in love with it. I went to my Uke group and showed it off and since we all live in the same area, they loved it. YES it is the BACON COMPANY. They became Bacon & Day Banjo company. Real craftsmen. Thank you for the kind comments on my clawhammer. I hope to try more songs, now that I have the BanjoUke. @grannieannie thank you! I agree, having something with history and being able to share and play is just COOL. I think your entry and successful run, was perfect! Even at slower speed. I stayed away from that because of the run (ha ha).
@abster amazing as always – well done. @bibilele very pretty. Love the piece that Andrew wrote and @kittycatlin love the Zelda themes. I wasn’t familiar with them until RC101 started teaching, very nice.

@karenj nicely played and the bass was really cool! Great job. I agree this was a tough challenge to learn a whole technique, rhythm, in just a few weeks. Far from the slightest bit perfect but sure was fun to learn and play!!! I played my “new” 100 year old banjo Uke for this challenge. You can watch a description of it in the “new gear” forum.

T. Hard to memorize because only portions of a measure repeat. I tend to confuse where I am and play the other measure 🤣🤔. Anyway trying hard. Already so many incredible entries. Always makes me think about reaching a goal.
