I selected Etude #5. I believe I did this entry two years ago but still needed to “learn” it again. Love Travis picking so this was fun to do again.

@dianna thank you… I know this group knows the amount of time it takes… a bit bummed with very busy week ahead. But I’ll get something done. You did a great entry with #5. I may try it too. Think I even didn’t it a previous challenge.

A quick shout out to @the_bumble_bard that was brilliant. Just love the claw hammer. So cool you tried that. Worked so well. 👏👏👏

Decided to go with Etude in E (actually Am). I was able to play my low G because it wasn’t used in the three finger picking. Really like the harmonics and still working on getting everything clear. A forever struggle. Great pinky workout on this Etude. Thanks again Andrew and Stephen for a beautiful piece.

@andrew @marianne right now only thing that has worked is going on YouTube and finding RC as one of my subscriptions then going through that to website. Not convenient but I’ll try your suggestion to Marianne.

@deadbuggy nice. Liked it a lot. @nat-uke totally agree, much more fun practicing for a song you like! @the_bumble_bard think I’m going with #20. It’s an intermediate challenge but all the things I can work on. Also has CAGED method like #4, we shall see. November is starting out busier than usual. Good luck everyone 🎼👏🎼👍 Louisa

@ukulelebetsy don’t get discouraged. Believe me I struggled five years ago and taught myself mostly from RC. It took a year before I entered a challenge and remember seeing others post an entry and was SO intimidated. I even asked @andrew were these people all professional? He told me to follow my path and not someone else. So stick with it, practice (as much as you can) make it fun but setting little goals – island strum was a big one for me, way back when, so already you are on your way. See you on a future challenge! @shelle hi there, not sure if you have decided. I’m sure you have heard how important it is the play the instrument you are purchasing. I have “a few” ukulele’s now and I love my concert Kala. I fine it has great sustain and stays in tune so nicely. I used it for the October challenge if you want to see it. I’ve had it five years now. Wish you best. Beware, once you have 2 there’s no turning back…. They multiply 😆😁😆😁😆. Louisa

@the_bumble_bard I’m impressed you performed that with just few days of practice. Very nice. Two entries this month 👏😁
I’m amazed with those that really nailed Tocatta Fugue @abster @lhamilton @morrieuke1 @misterbones and Brett of course. Such emotion and talent. I love showing my family your entries and how great the ukulele can sound. Blue moon is beautiful too.
I know others have commented but Rock Class is a special place. Thanks @andrew for creating this musical community to grow.

I know I did with great frustration. AND when you want to respond to someone you must use their participant name with “@” before it. 😉
