leb397Participant@the_bumble_bard I think you are not giving yourself the credit. I thought it was good! Sounded pretty to me βΊοΈππππ the fact you recorded all is nice. Such a soft moving tune. Well done.

leb397Participant@Andrew thank you. Always appreciate your positive comments and so glad you came through the storm. I struggle so hard with the clarity of notes but will continue to work on it. Nerves get in the way too π
@The_Bumble_Bard thank you ! so glad you are excited for me too!!! I am in love with it. I went to my Uke group and showed it off and since we all live in the same area, they loved it. YES it is the BACON COMPANY. They became Bacon & Day Banjo company. Real craftsmen. Thank you for the kind comments on my clawhammer. I hope to try more songs, now that I have the BanjoUke. I hope you get the time to post an entry. Always look forward to what you have to share. Be well…
@grannieannie thank you! I agree, having something with history and being able to share and play is just COOL. I think your entry and successful run, was perfect! Even at slower speed. I stayed away from that because of the run (ha ha).
@abster amazing as always – well done. @bibilele very pretty. Love the piece that Andrew wrote and @kittycatlin love the Zelda themes. I wasn’t familiar with them until RC101 started teaching, very nice.
.
@lhamilton great job! I know the struggle. Well done. Memorizing that piece was more difficult than others, I thought.Wow another challenge wrapping up and great entries and selections. Love the variety @andrew posts. You manage to have something for everyone. A REAL challenge. Louisa

leb397Participant@karenj nicely played and the bass was really cool! Great job. I agree this was a tough challenge to learn a whole technique, rhythm, in just a few weeks. Far from the slightest bit perfect but sure was fun to learn and play!!! I played my “new” 100 year old banjo Uke for this challenge. You can watch a description of it in the “new gear” forum.
Great entries everyone. Thanks @andrew and @christopher for fun Sept. Challenge.September 27, 2024 at 10:29 am in reply to: Participate in the September 2024 Member Challenge: Duets! #63874
leb397ParticipantThinking of you @andrew and any members in the area of the storm. What a mess for some of my friends in GA and SC. Hope you are safe.
leb397Participant@the_bumble_bard Very good. They do look fierce! You should continue their story. Roaming the wilds hunting for other fur friends. Waiting to pounce at the slightest movement. ππββ¬π± π
leb397ParticipantPS Iβll call you emoji queen π
leb397Participant@the_bumble_bard nβ¦Iβ¦cβ¦e. You really have the claw hammer down. Iβve been working hard on wildwood for Sepy
T. Hard to memorize because only portions of a measure repeat. I tend to confuse where I am and play the other measure π€£π€. Anyway trying hard. Already so many incredible entries. Always makes me think about reaching a goal.
Good luck. Have fun! ππππΌπΌπΌππππΌπΌπΌππππ

leb397ParticipantCongrats @shmu88 !
Iβve had busy Aug. but really want to give extra kudos to those that sang. @the_bumble_bard you made my day when I saw your animation and rendition of meowβ¦ so fun. Keep being you. You have a shy but outgoing personality that I know everyone at RC appreciates and βgetsβ. I look forward to your September claw hammer!
@maryjanew well done and @johanna2509 the piano version was great but loved the singing.
Those that played Game of Thrones, set the ear worm in my head. @jbmills07 hopefully your arm issues have improved. You played GOT great.
@bibilele love frolic ππ
@grannieanne I bet your grandkids enjoyed SpongeBob
Ok @brettboy I replayed the mysterious ending a few times⦠some kind of strange fruit⦠kiwi or star fruit? Crack me up. So good with your entries.
Many more great entries. Fun month
Sad to see summer end. Kids back in school. Time to practice
Thanks @andrew and all the teachers. Really feel like Iβve grown through this site. β€οΈππΌSeptember 1, 2024 at 6:06 pm in reply to: Participate in the September 2024 Member Challenge: Duets! #63587

@shmu88 nice. It was so difficult to move up the neck and back⦠nicely done
@katazumiri I was mesmerized by your cup timing! Great playing all those parts. You are a one-woman show!August 19, 2024 at 8:50 pm in reply to: Participate in the August 2024 Member Challenge: TV Themes! #63235
leb397Participant@andrew – YEAH
@misterbones you def nailed it. FYI That was what I was aiming for π some-day… I’ll keep practicing.August 19, 2024 at 1:54 pm in reply to: Participate in the August 2024 Member Challenge: TV Themes! #63223
leb397Participant@the_bumble_bard well Iβve heard you sing and recall it was nice. I donβt have a strong singing voice but feel if people can keep on key/tune, go for it π. Especially in the privacy of your ownspaceβ¦ I sing best there π€£π€£
Ok Iβm going to work on wildwoodβ¦ we shall see. Maybe it will be on next monthβs challenge.
@gi_gi_ I agree with you, that Emiliano will soon be teaching us!-

leb397Participant@Andrew thank you. I’ll continue to work on that transition – lots of practice.
@The_bumble_bard much appreciated comments. The reason I continued with the Uke is because of RC101 teaching the ability to pick a song so you don’t have to sing. In the July “write your own song” On of my verses says just that. I’m loving the different TV tunes! Can’t wait to hear what you pick. AND did you see there is a new lesson Wildwood with claw hammer! I want to work on that!!
@grannieannie THANK YOU for noticing my shirt (ha) I had to dig deep in my closet for that (and it still fit) Appreciate the kind comments. “Where are my sponges” could be your next song writing title.August 15, 2024 at 1:26 pm in reply to: Participate in the August 2024 Member Challenge: TV Themes! #63105
