@the_bumble_bard you did it! This piece is so tricky. I’m not a perfectionist, when it comes to music, as @shmu88 played to perfection I think, but I feel more of “survival mode” 😁. Andrew says don’t compare but have your own journey. Totally agree but watching the amazing entries gives me a bit of angst to improve… not a bad thing. Also TBB enjoyed your claw hammer. Impressed with your ability’s to transpose.

That is sad 🙁 very sorry to see. I’ve witnessed others dropping their instruments and cracking. Sometimes it simple as a strap coming loose.

@jgillard sooo impressed. I agree with @TBB and good questions from @dianna. I have memorize only some of it, not sure I’ll accomplish that. That big slide from 5-12 I definitely will have to look. I have long way to go….

@the_bumble_bard well I think you’d be surprised how similar you sound to my start out of the gate! Guess I’m not only one. You are a champ opening up and exposing the REAL world of practice. Last week I almost quit this same song. Got so frustrated playing verse 1 before you get to crazy chorus. I had a block till I finally moved on and now chorus seems easier. Now I’m not saying it’s clean but I can get through it as of 11/8. Good luck. You are a good musician.👏😊

I watched Spirited Away with my grandkids and for a long movie, it kept their attention and mine. Incredible artistry. I waited till the end and watched all the credits so I could hear the beautiful voice singing the song. Highly recommend as others did.
@the_bumble_bard, I have no doubt your entry will inspire all of us with your creative touch. I’m still chipping away with “spirit”.

Wow off to an amazing start @deadbuggy and @johanna2509. Beautiful. @the_bumble_bard I started to learn Always With Me. It’s just so beautiful to my ear but OMG this is a stretch for me. We shall see… currently struggling with INTRO bar 9 just getting my fingers to the Gm. Thank goodness for the “loop” tab player. Sometimes its a mind block for me till I work it out.
October challenge had amazing posts. Love to see the level where everyone is.
Thought I’d ramble between practice on this crisp fall day. Thanks again @andrew keeping me motivated with the challenges. Good luck everyone. Oh, nice to see new “names” and some old ones back! I feel I know you 😀👏👋

@TBB you truly have a talent for seeing the music. I mean you see the possibilities a classical piece can have. Really like the claw hammer and triplets. What fun. Glad you feel so comfortable to share. You add a big part to this site because of your open and fun – unobstructed nature. I know you will say how shy you are to share but it allows all of use to feel we can do it too, in the smallest of ways.
