    @johanna2509 that was lovely. It’s a beautiful song. Very popular in the States. I’m guessing you are somewhere different maybe? Recording is my nemesis when it comes to challenges. It’s funny, I would be recording and thinking “oh this is going to be a great take” and then with my mind “thinking” I’d immediately goof up 🤣🤦‍♀️ Congrats on the 5 years of playing. You are very good and certainly at an intermediate level. I started just before you but took a full year off of playing with “life” in the way. Love being a part of RC. Merry Christmas!!

    @madz_about_uke
    your posts amaze me at how calm you always look. I see them in Facebook and your voice is so pretty. Nicely played… love the distraction – yikes I’d be a mess 😉

    @muzikmama very creative with your rendition – nicely played. When Aura Lee was a challenge I remember it being such a pretty song. @The_Bumble_Bard I think I started RC just before you. Thank you for your positive comments.

    Love hearing where everyone is living. I can tell the improvement of so many at RC. Fun to see and hear about the journey.

    I am amazed your wrist has healed so well and hasn’t effected your playing at all. Very nice submission and congrats on Andrew sharing with ALL.

    @nat-uke
    well done. pretty tone to your uke too. 🎶

    Great entries so far!!! Can’t wait to hear the singing entries! Happy Holidays

    Maybe we can all add a location to our last challenge of 2023. I am from Connecticut USA.

    Had to choose a Christmas song but it WAS a challenge. Recorded numerous times on IPad but still having issues so finally switch to my phone. Every take had a “good” part, I just couldn’t get them all on one recording hee hee 🙂
    MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND HAPPY NEW YEARS! Louisa

    @The_bumble_bard congrats 1st out of the gate. It’s such a lovely arrangement by Matt. You sound just like me when I started last week. You picked it up quickly. I mentioned to @Anndrew that RC is such a big part of my day. I agree we have a special group here. You’re a big part too. Happy holidays 🎄🕎🎅

    The selections for December are getting me into the spirit. Love Matt’s Have yourself a Merry Christmas and the post Steven just did for this weeks lesson is perfect.

    @andrew
    I think it’s perfect RC supports The Ukulele Club charity each year. Our chance to spread music to children.
    Happy Holidays friends! 🎅🏻🎄❄️🕎

    @jbmills07 loved it. Full of emotion and I couldn’t hear anything needing improvement. Ziggy out takes were so cute. He wasn’t feeling it this time or truly wanted your undivided attention.
    I gave my fingers 2 days to recover 😪 the tips were starting to feel numb but your take was perfect

    What a challenge this month! Everyone has done amazing.
    On to December tomorrow!!!

    @abster oh to be young and start playing at your age. So impressive and your ability to perform without seeing the strings. DON’T STOP wonderful job.

    @the_bumble_bard so nice of you to check. But I’ll have to see if I can post that type file on RC.
    I’m going to continue working on Always with Me. It’s a keeper. 😁
    Btw saw a new member who loves claw hammer @firebladetim. Under latest posts – hello from CA 😎

    @dianna I was thinking about you when you responded about my technical issue. I had just read What you said to Andrew. It’s exactly how I feel. So well stated. You had a perfect entry and memorizing WAS such a challenge. Love the back drop. I said before I watched this with my grandkids and the train scene was cool going over the water.
    Ok tech issue. I record on iPad IMovie but it’s mov. I ran out of space in Dropbox which did convert to mp4. So finally used adobe. I’ve never been able to upload directly to YouTube and not sure if mov. File can be used (if not converted) on RC. If someone else has info. We can move this topic to tech thread on this site. Thanks for your suggestion. My fingers are taking a rest today 🎼😁

    @andrew thank you for your encouraging words. I’m like a kid waiting to hear your response 😁 Age doesn’t matter for encouragement. I’m probably older than your mother 😆 Much appreciated.
    The comments @dianna made are exactly how I feel “performance ready” and having to get a recording. RC is a platform that makes us push to improve. The amount of practice so many must be doing we could all go on vacation to a warmer location (23 degrees this morning). I’m so impressed each month. I see the improvement from members and learn from them too. It’s such a big part of my day. Thanks Andrew. You have created a wonderful site for us to share…. Louisa

    I could repeat all the challenging issues with Always With Me, that others posted and I shared all of them. I chose this piece because I just fell in love with it (thanks Steven & Andrew) but probably above my level. I was shocked I memorized it but if I lost any spec of concentration, I had to start again 🙂 This was take 50 (maybe 30) but my fingers were giving out.
    (just spent 3 hours trying to convert to mp4 and upload – arrrgh!)

    Great job to all the entries, so many amazing musicians 🙂

    @suekulele real emotion in your playing and tone of your Uke is pretty. I enjoyed it. I hear you, about repeating chorus with length of piece.👏😊
