I am doing Yankee Doodle and am off to a pretty solid start!!

I’ve hardly practiced at all since Safer-At-Home and was just starting to feel…stuck. Passed my one-year learning mark last month and want to make progress but feel a bit lost.

Am going to aim to finish with Fingerpicking Course and Strumming Course and move onto Harmonics.

PS. I won the Banjolele in Feb and it just arrived a two weeks ago (due to lack of flights to Australia/ I had given up hope honestly it took so long) rainbow connection is definitely on my to-do list.

I haven’t been playing ukulele for very long and don’t know anything about banjoleles and now I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole looking at Little Gems.. very cool. Well start the clawhammer course today.

Second month as a PREMIUM MEMBER. Was easier to learn memorize and record the song compared to Greensleeves last month. Am happy with that progress and can’t wait for the next challenge.

I am a premium member. Playing Uke for 8 months, RockClass 101 for 2 months.

LOL Robin. I’ve heard my 7 year old walking around the house muttering “down, down, up, up, down….” She has a uke and is all about the beat. Must keep practising. In april I wanted to ‘get’ half barre chords so I could play a few songs I love. I noticed the other day how well I play them now. I practised them every day for months.

MIsty, maybe my song will be Greensleeves. It’s going well, I can play it at 65% percent speed ok and am just fine-tuning.

Im up late tonight because I had to move Elf on the Shelf. And now I’m watching ALL the videos on Soundslice.

Thanks for your response Rickey and Andrew. Ive already played our first song however and will give Greensleeve a go when I’ve finished the strumming course. I’m so slow…
