@drefrank Great points and it’s interesting to hear everyone’s experience. I to started changing lots of strings looking for ‘the one’.
What I learnt was there are definitely strings which sound better than others but there are also strings which are more comfortable/easy to play.
I’ve settled with Uke Logic strings for when I’m playing acoustically and Aldrins Aquila strings (which are amongst the cheapest you can get) when plugged in.

@tbb WOW that’s super impressive you’ve definitely got a natural talent for arranging I’m pretty sure it’s the hardest skill to develop.
Music theory.. I’ve sponged up a lot of music theory and went quite far down the rabbit hole… I think it’s a bit like learning a language… You learn what you need. I tried to get into a bit of Jazz (lots of theory)on the Uke and just got overwhelmed and gave up 😂 A lot of the better known Guitarists Eric Clapton, Jimmy Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen none of which could… read sheet music.. all played by ear.
On a side note I went to the Blue Note and saw this band. They were incredible..
Loved everything about it.. Loved the rawness of it (no Audio interfaces) just the sound of nature accompanying the acoustics of the Uke 😎😍
P.s what brand of Uke is that it sounds lovely.

@tbb Would love to busk 😎 saw a couple of buskers over the weekend who were enjoying themselves with their instrument (one had a fold up keyboard)… sometimes I think we are to critical of ourselves.. may give it a go 😎 Learñt something new with the Ñ

@gi_gi_ I’m going to try and keep it in my rotation as I forget also 99% of the songs I’ve learnt. Maleguena is the only song I know from start to finish (fingerstyle). I’m going to try add a couple more to the portfolio 😂😎🙏🏻@aukritesp01 Thank you.. I’m slowly making my way through it.. It’s one of the tougher songs on here I think. Another member of RC101 posted an awesome version of the full tab. Just love it!

@tbb It’s got a bit cooler over the last couple of days. I was going to get up early this morning to go surfing but It’s looking a bit chilly. Could imagine snow we pretty much have 9 months of summer here 😎
Yup off to NYC, never been before so am going to be a tourist for the week 🙂
@leb397 I’ve been married for just over 10 years… or it might just feel like 10 years haha Only joking 😂😂😂 definitely 10+ years.@gi_gi The weathers been so nice this winter I’ve been up early most mornings at the beach and then working far to hard as I’m off to NY in 3 weeks and my wife loves shopping haha

@robinboyd that is an insane bargain. I honestly thought it was A super expensive Koa model. Sounds. Beautiful I would love one and for that price a mo brained!
@robinboyd The Guitarlele sounds insane your really suits your voice also.. You captured the haunting feel of TLOU (in a good way). That was so awesome!
