AndrewKeymaster@katazumiri – That’s better! Although, some are still a bit off. I’d recommend a Skype lesson with Stephen. Working one on one with us will help as we’d be able to explain the rhythms in real time and help you get them down 🙂
biancak – The practice paid off! That was excellent! You nailed the feel of the piece, bravo!

AndrewKeymaster@lbilkie – That was excellent overall! The only thing I’d suggest is to loop the sections where you hesitate a bit. Mainly bars 5 & 6.

AndrewKeymaster@unlegendaryn00b – Well done! Sounds great overall! Couple things to point out: Double check the chord in measure 8. And the ending has some pull-offs, try to do them a little bit lighter. In other words, use less force when pulling-off. Check out this lesson, it’ll cover the basics on that technique.
I’d also recommend playing along with Matt in the tab player. Try 4 or 8 bar sections at a time. His playing will act as a guide to help you to get it to flow even better. But overall again, bravo! Keep up the great work 🙂

AndrewKeymaster@misskika – Sorry to hear about your finger! Hope you heal soon and you can always share your performance of B&TB in this forum. You did a great job on the new tune, sounds beautiful!
@cncamacho – Sounds great! I’d keeping working on the 2nd melody to keep it a bit more steady and maybe boost the tempo a notch.
@mademoiselleannette – Well done! This song is a bit tough with the barres and the jumps. And you aced those! Keep rockin’! 🙂April 28, 2021 at 5:43 pm in reply to: Participate in the April 2021 Challenge – WIN Kanile’a Baritone Ukulele! #46707
AndrewKeymasterHere’s the rest of the folks on page 5 we hadn’t gotten to yet.
lhamilton – Wow, Linda! You are a really good at whistling. You aced the uke playing, too. Absolutely beautiful. I sent it to Ashely to watch. She’ll love it 🙂
katazumiri – Here is my feedback for you and here is the course that I referenced.
gstriph – I think this is one of the strongest performances I’ve heard from you, Jerry! It was really good! Great feel and a clear understanding of the rhythms is evident – which is a little tricky on this one. I’d say keep doing what you’re doing and aim for gradual increases in tempo. Keep rockin’!
AndrewKeymasterWelcome, Kasia! Glad you found us 🙂

AndrewKeymaster@malku2603 – Fantastic, you played it so well! I do have one tip for you. When you get to Melody 2, try to practice that section along to a metronome. Start at a slow tempo and loop the first 2 bars. Your goal is to keep it steady and eliminate any pauses. Keep up the great work!
@joe150 – Sounds good, Joe! My goal for you is to memorize it. Then you can focus 100% on playing it instead of playing plus reading.
@emiliano – I agree with you, those are prob some of the most difficult slides I’ve encountered. As always, your playing sounds great! I’d just continue practicing at a slower tempo to clean it up a bit. Happy early bday!
@ccwuke – Here is my feedback for you 🙂
@marianne – Bravo! That was very impressive. Great feel and great note clarity. Well done!
AndrewKeymasterHmm… I’m not sure how to add a desktop icon. Maybe someone can chime in.
AndrewKeymasterWelcome back Alana! 🙂
AndrewKeymasterThe backdrop is perfect for that tune! You played it beautifully, well done 🙂
