crazihippichicMemberThat is one be-OOOO-tiful ukulele!!! As soon as you announced it on YouTube, I printed out the music for ‘The Walking Dead Theme’. I also printed out ‘La Gitanita’ so I can learn that fancy Flamenco strum.
I’m soooo excited to be able to participate and possibly win that amazing prize. Well, this is one way to get me to practice and join in the fun. LOL
Thank you for coming up with this fun way for us all to celebrate your 5th Anniversary.

crazihippichicMemberChecking in to listen to everyone’s submissions. You all amaze me. And hotmilktea….only a month??? And you find time to practice while caring for an infant? I need to get on it. I’ve got no excuse. 😉
I need to figure out how to record on my PC so I can join in and get Andrew’s constructive feedback.
crazihippichicMemberGot a chance to try it on my phone and it works on there. 😊
crazihippichicMemberThanks for checking. I’m trying to listen to them on my PC. My browser is Internet Explorer. Still not loading up for me. Must be my browser.
crazihippichicMemberI’ll check those out. 😊
crazihippichicMemberTime to order up a low G string for one of my ukes. I’ve been meaning to. My tastes in music run more towards sad sounding rock (like Creep). It’s hard to sound sad with a “happy” high G ukulele. 😜

crazihippichicMemberI definitely will….once I get a bit better. The other members here are very inspiring. I can’t pick worth a darn, right now, but I am motivated to learn. 😊

crazihippichicMemberAll I can say is WOW! Kudos to you, Evan. I hope to be able to play like that someday. I look forward to more of your videos and arrangements in the future.
crazihippichicMemberThanks, Kanae926. 😊
The back on my Kala is gorgeous. I’ve attached a pic.
My Waterman isn’t glow in the dark, unfortunately. I believe that feature is only available in the Soprano size. The soprano also comes in a wider selection of colors.-

crazihippichicMemberThe free lessons are a great idea. They showcase Andrew’s teaching style… and that was what drew me in. I could tell I would get a lot out of being here. I’ve been in the “class” for a day and already have answers to many of the questions I had regarding fingerpicking.
crazihippichicMemberI currently have 4 ukes. All are concert size.
A Kala KA-FMCG
A Caramel acoustic/electric
A TFW Banjolele
and…
I just got a Kala Waterman….TODAY! lol
I bought it to carry around with me, so I don’t beat up my good ukes. Mostly for the 1 hour round trip visits to town, when I’m a passenger in my husband’s truck. I can use that time for practicing. So far I am really impressed with the Waterman. Nice tone for being basically a plastic uke.-
