This upgrade is a real improvement in terms of usability. The added sorting feature works great.

The separations in the site bar work much better; the categories make searching so much easier. Once the stylistic adjustments are completed soon, it will be a great result.

Question: will you also integrate the release date of lessons into the overall system, like with the live lessons?

Dear all, I am so happy that RC101 music school feels connected to The Ukulele Kids Club. This contributes to musical relief for children who are having such a hard time. I would like to contribute. And just donated $100. With warm and musical regards, Dirk.

Hi Mika, in addition to being a singer and ukulele player and a member of RC101 for years, I am also a sound engineer. I always enjoy your flawless audio&vid contributions in the T.U.S. podcast. I’m pleasantly surprised to see and hear you now at Andrew’s RC101 too! Regards, Dirk.

@ukandrea – Great good news Ukulele Kids Club will be available in Germany soon. That motivates me to inquire again whether this is also the case in a large Dutch hospital.

@Drefrank: What a wonderful story you tell us. Beautiful pictures too. A jewel for the eye, that ukulele of yours. And looks like a happy player.
I’ve been a Kanile’a player myself for a few years now, also having heard of Andrew’s findings. And a lot of research beforehand by myself of course 🙂 Not regretting it for a second!Greetings, Dirk.

It’s his tenderly chosen words in Liam’s piercing vocals that really make this one such a legendary song. “You’re my wonderwall” as alternate to “I love you”. Great poetry. And good to arrange it for the ukelele. I vote Wonderwall.
    Greetings, Dick

Hi folks, I’ve been following Matt’s live stream. Was a lot of fun and considerations came along that I recognized myself in: 1: how many ukes do you need? In my case: After playing on an entry-level uke for a year, I was able to buy two high-quality ukes. The choice also fell on Kanile’a. Because of, and as Matt also mentioned: sustain, intonation, tone. And of course personal preference for sound color. I am immediately done with considerations for replacement or expansion of the uke collection. 2: The Fender ukes: also agree with Matt. This manufacturer is not really known as a renowned ukulele builder. But the Dhani uke remains a fun instrument, as a gimmick 🙂 Thanks Matt, for this meaningful livestream!

As is known by many, George Harrison was a huge ukulele fan for many years, in addition to being a great guitarist and composer. And son Dhani grew up with the huge collection of ukes that George had amassed. And has now given his own name to a uke released by Fender under the name: “Dhani Harrison ukulele”. The question is: for which target group is this uke intended? For the starter, given the price segment, or for the Harrison fans, who ‘must have’ such a copy? Maybe for both? I can already tell you that I have also overcome the feeling of ‘must have’, although my hands are itching 🙂 Kind regards, Dirk

very funny that our community member Jonnhy Rotten makes a request for the iconic song by Edith Piaf called Je Ne Regrette Rien. My parents played the song every week at that time on their already advanced record player. And when I, as a young boy, saw the then still black and white performance on TV, I discovered the passion how Edith performed it. Precious memories.Great song!. And nicely played already Jonnhy 🙂 Do you also play Sex Pistols on the uke? LOL. Greetings, Dirk

    Hi Patrick,

I use other software in my studio myself, but i know audacity well. I use it to extract certain file types (MOGG files). In your recording, indeed a lot of background noise, and cannot be filtered away without drastically changing the color and dynamics of the uke. A few tips for your next project: audacity does have some effects on board that are easy to apply. 1: Always use the compressor to curb the peaks in volume. 2: You can filter out a lot of shrill sounds with the equalizer. 3: A nice room reverb works wonders. (less is more by the way.) And finally 4. audacity also has a limiter on board. You can also use them, perhaps first in the chain.
By the way, these are standard tips and tricks, nothing special. There is even a lesson on recording techniques from Andrew on the RC101 website. It is based on the same principle. Oh, and if your strings are about to break, then it’s about time to replace them. haha.

Hi Mr. Cashmpe (Patrick?), first to let you know, how I love what you created with your Ukelele children songs vid. IK can imagine how you feel to get grandfather first time. I am a big big fan of your intro song “Into the maze” a composition written by Andrew. I play it often myself, as good as I can. 🙂 Concerning recording stuff I maybe can help a bit how to record and mix simply with Audacity software. If you like some tricks with that, Andrew for sure can send you my priveate Email adress, so you can mail me. I then can send you some sampeles with some simple ads to your own recording, which allready sounds so sweet allready in combimation with the movie clip. Anyway, congrats with all of this! greetings, Dirk.

Such a nice Islander Lullaby tune, Sara. Your bright smile at the end of the clip tells me the whole story! 🙂
