Here’s my June entry! There are some chords I’m not entirely happy with, so I’ll keep working on them. Thank you for the arrangement; it was really fun to practice!

@the_bumble_bard Oh haha the mega post with the 3 links is up now, Oh will try to record some noodles maybe next week.

Also at least for me the best noodling is at night haha the ambient is more relaxing for me or maybe I like to stay up late.

But thank you for sharing those 3 videos too!

Ah the channel is not mine haha @gi_gi_ is for my sister I made the content for, her instagram is pasaportete, she is not that into youtube.

Really great noodling video, I also think the chord in the end is Cminor, also I notice your ukulele knows Spanish haha with the word HOLA in there!

I also try to noodle with songs I know I lately been learning 2 songs I noodle with a Zelda song call song of healing and a Final Fantasy One haha I have geeky musical taste.

But those videogame songs are really great to noodle cause they tned to repeat alot so are easy to learn and very catchy.

There is a guitar guy call Lucas that I enjoy how he solo and adapt this videogame songs, I bet he noodle a lot to come with those ideas:

Oh it is my pleasure @gi_gi_ ya regarding in other scales ya but then I need to think a lot and is not noodling anymore haha with cmajor is so easy cause you only worry about the A and the E string, but ya I think there is no easy way you have to create the muscle memory.

Will start with G major since only have one sharp an see how it goes!!! Thank you for the suggestion.

oh so this noodlings links I suppose are in your youtube channel? I will check them tomorrow, I am going really early tomorrow to Cancún to create social media content for some hotels haha also free breakfast in onw hotel and free meal in another, cannot complain about free food 😂

I absolutely love it! 🌟 It’s a great way for me to relax and chill. Recently, the YouTube algorithm blessed me with a Mika Kane video. I’ve been learning the 4/4 waltz and the one from Howl’s Moving Castle. 🎶

I found this lesson by Mika Kane, and I think it’s great for further noodling on the ukulele. It would be amazing to have a lesson like that but not using the C major scale. 🤔 I have no idea how to apply it outside of that in other scales! Any tips are welcome. 🙌

Hope to see your noodlings here more often! 🎸 On the other hand, I decided I will start tabbing my noodles because I want to learn how to write down my ideas so I don’t forget them. For example, I
adapted a song from a game I love, Guild Wars 2, like 3 years ago, but now I forget everything hahaha. 🎮😂

Thank you very much, @The_Bumble_Bard! It’s nice to meet you! o/

I’ve been part of this site since 2020, but I mostly lurk rather than post. I just started posting again last month because work has been really demanding over the past few years.

By the way, your high G, low G, baritone poem was featured by Matt in his low G, baritone ukulele comparison lesson 😀

Hello @gi_gi_ Gigi, nice to meet you! o/ Thank you for your kind words!

Is the uke I’m holding in the video(Enya E6). Since it’s not available for purchase here in Mexico, I had to contact Enya directly and have it shipped via UPS. When it arrived in Mexico, it was held in customs for almost a month because an expert in wood needed to inspect it.

But finally, it arrived at my house this past Thursday. I’m still getting used to it; before this one, I only had a plastic Enya ukulele. The bridge on this wooden uke is wider, and the action is a bit higher. However, the sound is really good, and I’m loving it a lot.

This month has been really long, haha. On the upside, I got my new ukulele. However, at the beginning of the month, the ukulele got stuck in customs, and there was a possibility they might dispose of it due to some import laws here in Mexico.

Getting back on track with the music, I chose “Clocks”. Matt’s version was really amazing, so I wanted to use it as a starting point and incorporate another one of Matt’s lessons, his strumming course, and the “Crossing Hemispheres” lesson for some inspiration to add a bit to my interpretation. I hope it’s okay and still considered a valid entry.

I just really enjoy Matt’s lessons, haha.

After taking a two-year break from these challenges because I moved to a new city to start a travel agency, I’ve settled down near the sea and the beach in Playa del Carmen, just near Cancun! 🏝️🍹⛱️🌞🌊

THis month I seriously have to put a lot of practice into it, I still get too tense and pluck super hard the strings sometimes, but it was tons of fun, really rewarding and worth it song to learn, ty Andrew and Evan.

For a change I manage to post my entry a little before than usual (last day of the month)
But since next week is my bday, I doubt I will have too much time to practice or record.

I had a ton of fun learning this one, I never expected that slides where so challenging still working on those changes but they add a really nice texture to the sound.
