evapajuParticipantHello, Evan! You are fabulous! I have seen Your performances several times before and I admire how well You play but also how nice and kind You appear, not arrogant at all. Thank You for sharing Your talent!

evapajuParticipantThank you @Steven for feedback, totally agree with it! Also thank you for Tarrega´s Etude in E-minor arrangement from November Challenge, I´m still playing it nearly every day. Merry Christmas!

Hello!
Here is my submission. Sorry about the singing, the playing part was not perfect as well, but I enjoyed the learning process this month all the same. Just love jazzy tunes and I really improved my left hand mute in the process. I had to transpose the song to key of D, to be able to sing it and use left hand muting more comfortably.
Good luck and Happy Holidays to everyone!!!December 8, 2021 at 1:17 pm in reply to: Participate in the December 2021 Member Challenge – WIN $2,100 Kanile’a #49704
evapajuParticipantThan you, @Andrew for fast answer, I will try your recommendations today and probably tomorrow and after that too :)! I just love to learn something new!
Transposing tool did not transposed E7#5 and I totally forgot to use google, silly me. G7#5 works great! I tried capo but it has some negatives for me, I guess I decide in the end which version works better.
@nthibode – fabulous performance, really enjoyed the scenery too!-

evapajuParticipantHello!
Today we had a chance to see Ashleys playing, singing and tutorial close by and her smooth singing and relaxed way of strumming is really amazing!
It raised some questions thou :). First one- how to achieve this kind of delayed way of chucking (with right hand to cut the chord ringing) which Ashley uses on downstrokes. I tend to cut the ringing too short and if I try to make it little longer it starts to sound really uneven. I would really like to learn this technique.
Another thing- I had to transpose the song to higher key (key of C), to be able sing along. On the end of the bridge and verse 3 in original key is transition from E7 to E7#5 and back. I used G7(0212) to G7sus4 (0213) and back but it does not sound quite right. Any suggestions on that chord choice?
I would really appriciate some help! Thank you!
evapajuParticipantI vote for Hang on Little Tomato too 🙂

evapajuParticipantHello @Andrew!
“What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” is my must be choice on this month challenge, but in the key of A a little bit low to sing. Could I use capo or transpose to higher key or it is against challenge rules?
Thank You!November 29, 2021 at 5:56 am in reply to: Participate in the November 2021 Member Challenge – WIN $2,100 Kanile’a #49452
evapajuParticipant@ukandoit, I would be happy to play like You one day. I really liked Your 100% speed performance. Good is better than perfect!

Hello everyone!
My best attempt at the moment to record this beautiful piece. I absolutely love Tarrega and I am grateful for opportunity to perform this arrangement.

Hello everyone! I am so exited to participate RC101 challenge very first time and this is my first attempt ever to film myself playing too. It was much harder than expected as you all obviously know already. I have 8 months experience of playing ukulele and I hope to get much better eventually. It is been pleasure to watch you all playing too and I wish you all good luck!
