Hi Andrew, After focusing on the points you offered I really tried to get some polish on my version of Day-O. I hear some improvements but yikes not as much as I would like lol. I recorded it using GarageBand and your cool backing track. Unfortunately, I got ahead of the backing track and every attempt to play and record afterwards was below par.Everyone’s submissions are very impressive. Thank you for the quality of instructors and generous feedback.
Be Well,

ParticipantThank you Andrew! I’ll dig into your advice. Is there any assets on the site that instructs with my uneven plucking?

Hi, I am working on Day-O. Besides timing, the issue I’m having is inconsistent picking of the strings. It seems as though I’m not able to apply a even pressure across the strings. Measure 19 is an example of hesitation then uneven plucking.funtime2018

ParticipantHi, in bar 11 of Loke LAni the F6 chord is challenging – My pinkie doesn’t cooperate. Other than practice, practice, practice is there a F6 modification or an alternate chord I can try? Thank you!

Hi Andrew, attached is my submission for December which is ‘Greensleeves’. My low G string feels and sounds like I’m playing a rubber band. I’ll be switching up the string set after the holidays.
Merry Christmas,

Hi Andrew, I had a technical issue preventing me from posting. I’m not too happy with the squeaky A string (open and fretted) on this recording – could you give me some feedback on what causes it ie strings?
All my best,

ParticipantHi Andrew, looking forward to getting into Tonight You Belong To Me – it will be the most challenging piece I have tackled.
FYI: there’s a typo in ground rule #1 in that it states Beatles not Beach songs.
All my best,

I learned quite a bit tackling ‘When I’m 64’. Looking forward to June’s selection! There’s a blooper at measure 27… thank you!
