That is so impressive @surferjay. Hope I can do that one day. Thanks for sharing. Is there a course on this site showing how to use a loop pedal and to tab out songs? This has peaked my interest. Thanks.
@cstiber What really helps is to have fun. The ukulele is supposed to be a fun instrument. Since Valse Venelozano #2 was super hard I practiced every day of the month. I may have missed one day but I told myself to smile as I played 🙂 This helped me greatly. In the end, everyone did very well including yourself. I think I recorded a million times 🙂 If I didn’t have to record it I don’t think I would give it as much time so it is good for us all. Please enjoy yourself as you learn. You may look back and realize just how well you are doing 🙂 In the moment it is difficult to see the progress sometimes.
@Andrew “Killing me softly” was originally song by Lori Lieberman but it didn’t chart in 1972. Roberta Flack made this song popular in 1973. I don’t like the new version by Fugees.
If the lesson was of Lieberman or Flack’s version then that would be my choice.
If not one of their versions then I would have to choose “Hang on Little Tomato”. Thanks.@Deadbuggy That was wonderful. I would much rather learn your version. Your uke is gorgeous.
@Andrew Christopher Davis Shannon is an amazing talented artist but that version is so complicated. All I kept saying as he explained his arrangement is, “why?!” 😫@Andrew Thank you so much Andrew. @robinboyd We did it. Yours was great. Everyone did an amazing job this month with all the songs. I hope December isn’t as hard as November 🙂@ldarrow you can tell you’ve been playing a year. I really enjoyed that.
@dirk55 I’m sure Kanilea would fix that for you. Koalohas come with a lifetime warranty so I’m thinking that Kanilea does as well.

@robinboyd Thanks for saying that. It helps 😂. I have been slowing down everything esp the parts I need more help with and it is a big help. These challenges are great because I would never finish this task on my own…. We can do it 😊.
Everyone’s posts are so good. I am thinking I bit off more than I can chew with the Venezuelan Waltz 😂. I just realized I have to get it to 75%. I thought I could submit it at 50% (insert face palm)…
@Andrew Hello Andrew, I am using Safari on an Ipad. I tried it again today and it will work at a slower speed if I choose a small portion of bars. I am trying to go from the beginning to the first repeat bar and it still won’t do it. It freezes and stops. I am wondering if there is a limit on the amt of bars we can loop for the slower speed. I’m curious if you are able to loop from the beginning to the first repeat bar on 30%.
