Hi everyone, I don’t know if it’s too late to enter but I just work 65 hours this week and I’m exhausted anyway I Learned this song about six or seven years ago and I really liked it. And to keep it kind of memorized over the years. I want to improve on transitions dynamics, and the feel of the song the link isn’t working to post right now. Hello! This is my entry for the December challenge! I didn’t really get much time to practice this month, so this video I know is not good, it’s kind of like a practice session! But I’ve been in playing my uke a lot this month! I performed with my uke group (Ukes and Brews) at 3 different events – a sing a long at a brewery, at a local church’s Christmas tree lighting, and at a nursing home and each one we got to spread some joy!

I AM A PREMIUM MEMBER. My entry for the November Challenge – Fingerpicking Etude 25 – I played it twice in my video cause I almost had it memorized. Almost perfect but didn’t have more time . I’ve been practicing a little bit every day 🙂 So thankful for these lessons I finally learned how to properly do a hammer on pull off and slide. Thanks again rockclass101 and happy holidays !!

This is my entry for this month! I thought this was the perfect fun Halloween song. I know could use a few more days practice but I wanted to make sure I recorded to enter the challenge. I seem to always challenge myself to memorize it and I played it on my tenor even though I often practice on my concert. Anyways have a great Halloween everyone and thanks for the lessons 🎃✌🏻

Thank you for the kind words on my song! Everyone did a great job too! Someone wanted to know the lyrics so here they are! Ps I’m not a new member but I’m not here as often because I’m a CPA so I often just get busy 😄 I just get nervous performing in general so still working on that. Anyway here they are:

Hello! This is my entry for the July challenge. My original song called Summertime. I started writing this song at the beginning of the month when I finally took some time off work. I know I look a little nervous in the video but I was just happy that I got through the song without messing up since I’ve memorized it. 😄 I love watching all of your original songs on here! Hi all! Here is my entry for this month with “clocks” just in the nick of time. 😉 (I’m a premium member). I liked learning this song just didn’t have as much time to practice as I wanted to. I’ve been playing a lot with my local uke group and am in the middle of moving as well. I know with practice I can get the transitions and each section better but this is the best I can get at the moment! Thanks for the lessons. Who else is ready for summer ? 🙂

I’ve played this so much better other times but this is the best take I could get right now. Anyway thanks so much for this challenge and encouragement to learn something new. Hi everyone! So here is my progress on how harmonics is going! I’m actually pretty proud of myself . I have only gotten thru excerise 2 of artificial harmonics exercise but I figured out already the notes for amazing grace! This is jsut by ear all harmonics and playing my travel uke so . (Key of F) I grew up playing piano so I actually do know remember something about music. I haven’t looked at the music yet for your version but pretty cool I figured this out . What else is there to do when the power goes out right? It is back on now…Anyway hope you are all having fun with your challenges too! 😀

Hello! My goal for the month is to work on Harmonics.

Execution:
Complete the Harmonics course. I remember I had watched some of this awhile ago but never finished it. I am going to work on completing it and learn Amazing Grace.

Execution:
I will practice at least 10-15 minutes each day. I will complete the Harmonics course and also use end of the month to work on playing Amazing Grace.

Evaluation:
Record and submit the performance song Amazing Grace by the end of the month. I will also work to add some harmonics to other ukulele songs.

This will all be by end of January so that is good that’s it’s before I get super busy with tax season in Feb – April.
