Here’s what I have for Hawaii Five-O. Maybe someday I can get it cleaner and up to speed. Like Stephen said in his lesson – lots of tricky parts. Busy August.

@the_bumble_bard I think our ukes birthday playing is about the same time frame. Took a year off during covid when we moved from our home of 47 years… lots of stuff you get rid off.

@marianne Thank you! I have to research this because I have an IPad but not a MAC computer or iphone. I’ve been using my Samsung to record. Originally I could use IMovie to edit/record on IPad then moved it to Dropbox to convert… unfortunately their fees went up so haven’t upgraded… anyway. Nice of you to send link and I’ll work on it.

@jbmills07 your arm seems to be getting better – you played that well. I’ve had that arm strain/tennis elbow before and it took me 3 months of basically not using it! Hopefully you are back at RC for good.

@marianne @gi_gi_ asked about your recording and you said you use iMovie. I did too for a while with my IPad but had trouble switching format to Mp4. Do you use an APP to transpose? I’ve been using my phone lately but like iMovie for editing.
@kelsey91 welcome – you have a long UKE path ahead of you.
@akukes73 – what a nice song – love bulbs and the life they have. I’ve planted many over my years and it’s always cold or late in the season when I get them in but I’m so happy I did, because spring arrives and there they are! Just like your song – springing up from the ground.
@ldarrow – sorry about covid! Really can set you back but glad you got in a great entry.So many good entries, want to comment on all but just know, everyone ROCKED IT as Andrew would say.

Here is my entry. I attended a music camp in early July in Maryland and one of the classes taught Ukulele Blues and different riffs. I started to understand how often 12 bar songs are used so decided to use that as my song. I did it in A. @Andrew I hope this is acceptable. It’s not completely an original but I did write words to it. If not… well… we she see. I’ve never written a song and these lyrics came very quickly to me. It’s fun… out of my comfort zone but thought I’d had to the humor of our GREAT community here. Everyone is so kind (hint to be kind 🙂 So this is “The G-ma Rock Class Blues”

@the_bumble_bard you continue to amaze me with your creative nature. I so enjoy claw hammer and you explained your process which was fun to watch. I love that you DO feel comfortable to post how you feel. You must know that it only helps US because we are going through the same thing. Nicely done!
So many others too @gi_gi_ and @bibilele and @nat-uke. Just impressed with the originals.So I will be posting soon I hope. I’m concerned it doesn’t quite mean the criteria but I’ll have to see what Andrew says…
