I chose YESTERDAY by the Beatles. tried learning this couple years ago and was way above my ability. I still have a lot to improve but on vacation and time is limited. I unfortunately only brought my high G. I know it would sound better with the low G. This gave my fingers a workout with some crazy shape cords.
Fun challenge to be able to pick our own lesson. Thanks @Andrew

Had some extra time to go back and listen to other entries. I could comment on EVERYONE because you are all amazing. Really showing your talent and progress. Hope we have this challenge again. It shows the stages of each member.

Posting right after @misterbones clawhammer medley! Excellent. Sounds so good.

Here is my “ML019 Beautiful Cord Progression” I chose this because of the complicated “chucking” involved and my challenge was to improve my technique. It’s still a struggle but I know I’ve gotten “better”.
I spent the month working on the lagato, timing, and the chuck – Always room for lots of improvement. Getting the cord or strings not to “thud”/Mute in the high frets – argh!
Really loved seeing the progress others posted. Made me feel better in my own journey seeing everyone has to start in order to improve. Thanks Andrew and Stephen. Louisa

@andrew really liked your “chuck” demo on the two styles. I know slap method wont work on ML 019 but hearing both with a count helped clarify the styles. Thanks for demo Louisa
