@dianna I agree turning more songs into claw hammer. @the_bumble_bard I’d love to see your process of transitioning into claw hammer or maybe Andrew has a course. Matt addressed it a bit when his lesson discussed changing up a song based on you @TBB with drunken sailor.
I like the Sept choices with mini lessons. Memorizing a 2+ min song isn’t easy… lots of hour’s practicing. Happy September 🎼🎼🎼🎼

@nat-uke nice to see 1st timer. I struggled so much to record and try to perform. Still do but we all had to start. Nice entry.

I had to get on the Cielito Lindo train… so many great entries that I saw, I had to try it. I can’t sing and don’t know Spanish – but I can hummmmmm . Tried to work on the barr cords as @andrew recommended last month. My video didn’t catch my best but wanted to get this posted. A first for (hum/sing) while playing/recording… THAT’s a whole different bag!!! Also 2.5 min is long. I really wanted to speed up the second half – vocal but after reading what @Andrew said or discussed with @katazumiri (excellent btw), decided to keep slower rhythm throughout.

So glad I found RC few years ago. Playing gives me great pleasure and it’s just for me. Most of my family has never heard me play. This is a wonderful, positive group.

My Heart will Go On is a lovely piece. I thinking playing slow is as hard as playing a more upbeat song. Especially after a villion recordings at 2+ mins. (argh!)
The song choices this month are all so great I want to learn all of them. I’ve fallen in love with Cielito Lindo and the entries. Kudos to all. I hope to do more with the claw hammer but it is more of a struggle.

Yes @TBB I’m struggling listening over and over with vocal. Wish we had option to mute while learning because at 50% it sounds reeeeeeeellllly bad. Making me want to 😫.
We shall overcome… well it’s a good start at least
