I started to learn under the boardwalk and am impressed with those who got through it. @shmu88 excellent, although you hadn’t heard it… made me feel old 😆 (I am…) @misterbones you make it look easy sooo good. And those that tackled Misirlou ( I remember that too) nice job @karenj (cute Uke) and lhamilton love the electric vibe. @mark1256 your doggy duet was heart warming, nice entry I don’t mean to leave anyone out of how great the entries are. Enjoyed every one of them.
Thanks RC101Love Under the Boardwalk and hope I can play it someday. Switched to Drunken Sailor and part C is a struggle. Found my own way to mute the G string… maybe not the best… WE ALL know how much time we spend trying to get a video without mistakes 🙁 SO here it is. Drunken Sailor.

@jbmills I struggled first time we I entered a duet. Either Hall of MTN king or one before that. Also song of storms maybe? I use iMovie no easy way but tweaking the video/sound length to match.
@the_bumble_bard love seeing new entries/faces (or laps) 😁 this month. More members to encourage. Great entries!@riffyk I uploaded from imovie to Dropbox and you can “save as” mp3. Then download to my computer and save there. Then upload that from YouTube that file.
May be easier way. Maybe other apps that can convert it but I struggled. Believe me, I know your frustration
Louisa@riffyk it’s important that video is in a mp3 format. I save mine to computer after I use my iPad iMovie to record. Then go yo YouTube and upload. Make a copy of link and paste in the post. Hope that helps a little. My first time I truly was in tears with frustration. Good luck Louisa
@Andrew thank you for the positive feedback, as always. I did not know that about the wound string on my low G, now I do! Cleaning up the cord work is probably my #1 nemesis but chucking is a close 2nd. It’s funny, not sure if I’m alone with this but when I chuck, I hesitate or don’t “commit” to it like I’m … I don’t know, just need to push through it. Believe me I’ve practiced and will continue but just a weird issue to overcome 8)

Nice to see another entry for Dynamics 008 @morrieuke1- – nicely done. I struggled with this one and spent almost the whole month working on it. I’m not sure why I stress or picked a more advanced piece but I loved the groove beat. I played this on my tenor and the low G made a lot of noise sliding, not sure how you avoid that.

I’ve had a busy June and still need to post June entry but wanted to comment on your helpful hints and importance of memorizing song and playing through mistakes etc… All were right on. I’m sure it helped other’s, hearing your path. I think I picked a hard mini Dynamics lesson and not sure why I do that to myself other than it’s the tune that was the most interesting to me. @the_bumble_bard another “A” (or E?) for effort! The struggle is real as we all know. I love that you show exactly what we all go through. I think this is one of the hardest challenges we had in the last year.
@katazumiri – so impressed with your “Chicken” and creative touch. Enjoyable.@andrew THANK YOU . Those quick cord changes are hard and I struggle to make them sound “clean”. More practice as I said.

We have said before that a “like” option would be nice 🙂 Each month I watch/listen to everyone’s entry and my admiration grows knowing the work. @the_bumble_bard after seeing @marianne (awesome job! BTW) entry of Funk Jam I KNEW my Rhythmic EP010 was MY best choice. Can’t wait to hear more.
