AndrewKeymaster@cinichol – your initial post is on page 12 🙂 Please don’t edit it – as I’ve embedded your video. It’s easier for us when leaving feedback to remain on one page than to click links to YouTube’s site.
And TY So much for your donation! Please email me with the amount donated so I can add it to the tally 🙂

AndrewKeymaster@firemanwife2012 – Sorry about that! Looks like you double pasted the YouTube link which made it fall into the spam filter. It’s live now 🙂
AndrewKeymasterWelcome, Jay! The best place to start is here. Have fun and if you ever need help on the lessons, don’t hesitate to ask 🙂
AndrewKeymasterThe latter is correct: strummed mute.
To be honest, “I’m Yours” should be placed in a higher level. It was one of the first songs I arranged for the site and was placed there before I had a clearer understanding of how the 5 difficulty levels would unfold. But I do want to stress that the majority of songs in each level are suitable for the suggested level.

AndrewKeymaster@ukesilver – I didn’t hear any inconsistencies, but if you want to work on it try this etude. Just replace the arpeggio-pluck technique with a strum or any style of stroke you wish.

AndrewKeymasterHere are the last couple of folks on page 8 that we hadn’t left feedback for yet 🙂
@joe150 – Great job, Joe! I think you’ve got a great base established, so now you want to start working on how you are playing it – which was the focus of this video/article. For this song, work on sustaining every note/chord throughout each measure. Basically, don’t lift up prematurely as you’re doing now – which makes it sound stacatto-y.Also, try a hammer-on for beats 2 & (2nd and 3rd note in the measures). That’ll give it a smooth connecting, legato sound. With those in mind, work on 2 bar phrases at a time playing alongside Steven in the tab player. Loop it and try to match his playing 100%. Start slow and gradually boost the tempo and tackle the song piece by piece.
@ukesilver – Well played! Great job on the timing, fluidity and feel. Bravo!
AndrewKeymasterWelcome, Jane! Glad to have you on-board 🙂

AndrewKeymaster@dividedsky – Sounds great on baritone, Jane and lovely playing! I have one observation to share: listen to the section from 11 to 28 seconds. Every first beat of each measure you’re accenting (plucking) very loud. Now contrast that to how you played the rest of the tune, which was much softer. I’d use that same lighter approach for that section.

AndrewKeymaster@simonalexander – Wonderfully played, Simon! You may want to dial the level back a bit when recording so it doesn’t clip (distort).
@brettboy – Great groove, Brett! I’d work on the spots that were tough transitions/lost the tempo – but overall it was awesome and the bell was a nice touch!
@willymac – Well done, Brian – I enjoyed your performance a lot 🙂
@jedart – You did very well overall, Jed! One tip: keep the bass notes in those double stops held down as you finish the rest of the measure so that it sustains throughout.
@beauke – Great playing overall! The only suggestion I have is for the phrase from 31 to 39 seconds. The last note in each of those measures, you play very staccato-y. Keep your finger pressure held down so they maintain the vibe of the rest of the piece: sustained.And TY so much for the kind words, really appreciate it!

AndrewKeymaster@rockmyuke & @ukandrea – Thank you so much for your donation 🙂
Andrea, I record with 2 channels: DI and mic. So those percussive sounds are coming from the mic channel.
