Thanks @Stephen for your kind feedback! I started learning the song on my tenor uke and there the volume of the tapping part was even lower. Will definitely keep on working on it. 🙂

inspired by Brettboy in the January challenge I chose Love for this month. But boy, this is a tough one! I play it at around half speed, but I’m happy to have learnt a new technique. I guess speed will come with time. 😉@Stephen Thank you so much for your kind words! 🙂
The perfect next challenge as we heard lots of great songs during January. I hardly could decide what I want to learn, but I try to master the tapping technique and choose “Love”. 🙂

everyone did such a great job this month. I’m not yet through with listening to all of the submissions, but what I heard so far is really amazing.
My goal was to write an own tune and perform it. So that’s what I did. I couldn’t decide on what to use as an background, strumming or picking, so I just played it twice. 😀 Funny thing is, though I wrote it myself, it still took some time until I could play it without looking at the music sheet. And at first I didn’t like it too much, and now I have an earworm.
I’ll try to attach the sheet later. I scanned it as pdf but I need a jpg or similar.

That’s a tough one but I think I found a good goal for me. 🙂
I want to improve my knowledge on music theory so that I can jam along with others and write my own tunes. For this month this means:1) Execution
I tried writing my own tunes but that is as far as I got. So I am a beginner.
I will complete the course “An introduction to music theory and jamming” (which I started months ago and never finished). With the knowledge I gained I will develop my own little tune.
I want to work on that 5 days a week, for 15-30 minutes.2) Application
I will write down my tune.3) Evaluation
Finally I will record my tune and share it with you.I AM A PREMIUM MEMBER

I chose “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas”. Love this arrangement! It has some tricky parts and I’m not yet perfect at playing it, but I did my best. 🙂

Great songs! “Always with me” is also on my list now, but the month was too short for me to get it down.@Andrew, thank you for showcasing the take of my daughter and me in the newsletter. She is really excited about it. ❤ Now she tracks how often the video is being watched in Youtube. 😂
