Hi, I chose Etude in E Minor and I fell in love with this piece. I couldn’t wait to record it so I ended up recording it in the car while waiting for my daughter. 😀
@Angelo Thank you so much for your kind words! I played keyboard and electronic organ for half my life so yes I know the swing feel. 🙂 I think the timing wasn’t perfect with the pull-offs, I still have to practice these.

Here also DayDreaming. 🙂 I had already learned it in a course so I just needed to refresh it. It’s not yet perfect, but summer holidays are starting so I thought I better record it now. Love this song, it’s just fun to play.
@Stephen thanks a lot for your feedback! As for the tapping: that’s what I tried. Damn it, now I have to try harder. 😉
Of course I had to choose Aloha ‘Oe. Felt like I owed it to my uke. 😉 The song is more challenging than I thought at the beginning. It’s not perfect yet, but I hope it’s okay. Ah, yes, and the tapping – I just didn’t get it so I found another way for the ending. Is there a magical trick to it?
Thanks a lot for your feedback, Stephen! This challenge really got me out of my comfort zone. And you are absolutely right – I just have to play it a hundred times more. But before I do that, I will start something new – probably Aloha Oe. 🙂

Hi folks, this challenge nearly killed me. I chose Jailhouse Rock. Quite okay in the beginning, but a fight to make it to the 100 % speed. Still I loved it. 😊 So here is my attempt, not without fleas. 🙈

I had so much fun learning “Smoke on the water”. Would have loved to do one from Van Halen, but that’s beyond my reach at the moment. But I will come back to these songs someday. 🙂
@stephen Thank you very much for your kind feedback! I’m still struggling with performing songs. I hardly can play a piece without making mistakes. When people are listening it’s even harder than when I’m recording.
