gi_gi_ParticipantAfter listening to Jeff’s Romanza and then listening back to yours I am even more impressed with yours. You did so well. Keep practicing it because it sounds so similar to Jeff’s. You’re right there. Wow! I will learn it one day but after Adelita I think I will work on Lagrima….
gi_gi_Participant@TBB yummy goodness for me to go through. Thanks for the links. This is fun…
I’m subscribed to Brandon Acker. He’s amazing too 😱. I started with the guitar but when a friend gave me a uke it took over 🤣😂🤣😂
gi_gi_Participant@TBB check out Jeff Peterson on Ukulele Corner on You Tube too. Check out his Adelita 😱
gi_gi_Participant@TBB John King? Ohhhh I will find it/him. Jeff Peterson is a Uke and Guitar Master. He’s won Grammy’s and is the most humble, kind person. You can find his videos on You tube. His playing will blow your mind.
That’s right, you won the uke that month. How cool is that? It must be so surreal to win. I’m sure noone thinks they’re gonna win. How fun. I’m happy just learning but to win is icing on the cake and a cherry on top 😂🤣😂🤣
It seems as if you’ve been playing for such a long time. That’s great. I make 2 years learning in May. Yippee!!!!
gi_gi_Participant@TBB I like all the spanish style songs. I think that’s why I loved Adelita. I’m totally hooked on the Classical songs now. Are you familiar with Jeff Peterson? I bought his Classical repertoire book for the uke. It’s quite amazing.
I was so shocked my performance got featured on this week’s newsletter 😱 I hadn’t seen it because I stopped reading after I saw Evan and Matt’s pieces 😂 Two days later I looked at it again and noticed I was featured… I turned the video to black and white just because. I don’t even know why but thanks 😂 I’ve spent this entire month continuing to work on Adelita and to remember Crazy. Can’t believe that was last Summer… time flies. Might as well make the time count by practicing a little everyday. Keep up the good work my friend.
gi_gi_ParticipantHi @TBB that was sooooo sooooo good. I havent been actively chatting but loving all you’re working on. Your fingerpicking was so smooth.

I would’ve loved to have learned the Ascent that Evan helped with but it was like climbing the ascent to Mt. Everest 😂

gi_gi_Participant@leb397 Thanks soooo much. I like it slower too plus I can’t play it faster 😂🤣😂🤣. Thanks for the encouragement.
Everyone’s submissions are sooooo stellar. We need more classical challenges. I just ordered Jeff Petersen’s Classical book for ukulele. Can’t wait till it comes.
gi_gi_Participant@Surferjay Awesome. I forgot that I learned la malagueña. Great video and playing.

gi_gi_Participant@TBB thanks so much. That means alot. I love working in it. I really didn’t think I was gonna learn it after trying to play the very first note. Playing the G string at the same time as doing a pull off was hard but it came with practice. I love these challenges. Thanks TBB

gi_gi_ParticipantHere is Adelita. Will continue to work on her. It´s a very intricate piece right from the first notes lol. Compliments to everyone this month. Great entries.
