gi_gi_Participant@lhamilton @marianne That was so good. I enjoyed your performances so much. I’m working on Adelita. Planning on posting it this week hopefully.

gi_gi_Participant@TBB your post made me lol.
I’m definitely interested in this subject just don’t know which angle it will take. When it said ear training for uke I was a little confused because when I think of ear training I think of it being a general thing not specifically for the uke.
gi_gi_Participant@Surferjay I understand. When the weather is nicer you have to go outside. Enjoy your vacay. Vacation always throws off my uke playing for a few weeks. I need a little travel one. Enjoy shopping in the Big Apple.
gi_gi_Participant@Surferjay Where have you been? That was so good. Glad to see you’re still playing.

gi_gi_Participant@dianna Thanks. I think Matt did a monthly q&a about that of sorts. I forget everything too 😂 When I go to play something again it takes just a little bit to get it back. I need to get the notes out and everything but it comes quickly. I have considered making a little playlist of sorts that I practice and keep in my memory but I haven’t done it yet.

gi_gi_Participant@Leb397 Thanks. When I started this month’s challenge I really thought I wouldn’t be able to do it. Adelita is really hard but I’m so surprised how quickly the brain is kicking in. That encourages me to not give up. When I see everyone’s submission I’m always so impressed. Keep up the good work everyone. ☺️

gi_gi_Participant@TBB Those feelings are normal. I think we all feel overwhelmed at the beginning of every challenge. I know I do. We start, little by little and low and behold, we accomplish more than we could’ve imagined. Giving it a try is a good start ☺️. No pressure whatsoever….

gi_gi_Participant@dianna I honestly dont think you need to learn all the songs before you learn Adelita. Adelita has all the techniques so you could just do that one if that’s what you want to do. It is technically difficult but you can do it ☺️. I skipped straight to Adelita. I’d much rather practice a song I really want to learn to keep me motivated. Just a thought….
gi_gi_Participant@TBB hey thanks so much. I worked on the Funk riff but after listening to everyone’s Country Riff I couldn’t get that music out of my head so I tried to learn it. I thought about learning another but I don’t want to invest the time 😂
