gi_gi_Participant@dianna Thanks. I think Matt did a monthly q&a about that of sorts. I forget everything too 😂 When I go to play something again it takes just a little bit to get it back. I need to get the notes out and everything but it comes quickly. I have considered making a little playlist of sorts that I practice and keep in my memory but I haven’t done it yet.

gi_gi_Participant@Leb397 Thanks. When I started this month’s challenge I really thought I wouldn’t be able to do it. Adelita is really hard but I’m so surprised how quickly the brain is kicking in. That encourages me to not give up. When I see everyone’s submission I’m always so impressed. Keep up the good work everyone. ☺️

gi_gi_Participant@TBB Those feelings are normal. I think we all feel overwhelmed at the beginning of every challenge. I know I do. We start, little by little and low and behold, we accomplish more than we could’ve imagined. Giving it a try is a good start ☺️. No pressure whatsoever….

gi_gi_Participant@dianna I honestly dont think you need to learn all the songs before you learn Adelita. Adelita has all the techniques so you could just do that one if that’s what you want to do. It is technically difficult but you can do it ☺️. I skipped straight to Adelita. I’d much rather practice a song I really want to learn to keep me motivated. Just a thought….
gi_gi_Participant@TBB hey thanks so much. I worked on the Funk riff but after listening to everyone’s Country Riff I couldn’t get that music out of my head so I tried to learn it. I thought about learning another but I don’t want to invest the time 😂

gi_gi_Participant@robinboyd Nice work. It’s good to see your hand is recovering.
gi_gi_ParticipantHilarious 😂😂😂 @TBB
gi_gi_Participant@TBB how did you do the trick to look like you were inside a uke? That was cool 😂
gi_gi_ParticipantWow, very nice @TBB I also enjoyed your post this month. I keep forgetting to post it.
February 10, 2023 at 6:12 am in reply to: February 14, 2023 – Live Lesson: 3 Light Bulb Moments! #56263
gi_gi_Participant3 lightbulb moments:
1. Practice
2. Practice
3. PracticeIf I don’t practice daily, even for 5 minutes, I feel that all the trouble of learning something was for naught 😂 That’s not completely true because after practicing just a little bit it comes back easily.
gi_gi_ParticipantTwo months?! Please say you play another acoustic instrument. That was great. Congrats.
