@rebeca Welcome back. Hope you keep posting because that was such a beautiful song. I can’t imagine being away from uke for a while and being able to write such a beautiful song like that.

That’s what I was using when I recorded this time but I am still in the process of figuring it out ☺️ I recorded into Ableton Live and have the mic, uke, laptop, headphones and monitors all plugged into a little Mackie ProFx6 Mixer. As I was practicing today I figured out how to get the sound to come out of the monitors. Is that how I should record for the challenges while recording from my phone to get the video? I’d kill two birds w/one stone that way.
The video in this post was done into Ableton Live and exported as a .wav file. I then combined the audio and video using iMovie for Mac. I tried copying all the setting you use in Ableton live but the volume was maybe still a little low. I don’t know.Thanks for your help. I will have the studio setup all the time now so I can actually learn and make improvements.

A friend’s sudden health scare inspired it.@the_bumble_bard I will share it. I was being a little facetious. I really just need to set aside time to do it. This week for sure. Can’t wait to hear everyone’s songs. I really loved the original song of @Janaq1 What a beautiful song.
I thought this challenge would be much harder than learning someone else’s song but it wasn’t. That came as quite a surprise to me. Hope we get more challenges like it. Thanks @Andrew

Something like that. I played around for a while figuring out which additional notes sounded good with it then recorded after I figured it out 🙂 I will try to add on different techniques and tempos with the same chords.@the_bumble_bard I’m just noticing I missed all your noodling. I’m sorry. I really enjoyed it. So you used the same chord progression from the Barbie song? Cool. I love this thread.
