isabelmParticipant1) Execution: I’ve been wanting to learn the electric guitar riff from the song “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan since I heard it live at Austin City Limits last year. Haven’t played my electric guitar in a while so this month I’ll give it a go.
2) Application: This riff includes bends, hammer one, pull offs, slides, and pentatonic scales. I found a few YouTube tutorials so I might take elements from both for different parts of the riff.
3) Evaluation: The goal is to post at least 2 updates. And test out different tones to see what works best.
isabelmParticipantYes that’s it! I got the set with the attachment that plugs into your phone. I just plug it in, turn on the mics and when the lights are green they’re paired. Then I record like normal.
isabelmParticipant@gi_gi I recorded this video with one Hollyland microphone on my shirt. The green light means paired and the blue light means ready to pair.

isabelmParticipant@gi_gi_ I have the hollyland mics and place one on the uke near the soy hole and the other on my shirt if I’m singing. Both mics can pair with one receiver. I haven’t posted any videos yet on YouTube with the mic but I have on Instagram @isabelruthmusic. It works great since I like to record videos outdoors and it’s hard to get good audio with a phone that’s far away.

isabelmParticipantFirst try at White Sandy Beach by Iz. Got lost in the middle of the song so will submit attempt 2 after more practice.

isabelmParticipantLooking forward to this challenge! Don’t think I’ve done a RC101 arrangement on baritone yet so I’ll do that for this month.

Really enjoyed Nathalie and Brett’s collab of Moondance – wonderful!!
I edited together 2 videos because I’m still working on smoothing out that transition to chorus 2.

isabelmParticipantAgreed, excellent songs and prize! I think I’ll have enough time this month to learn Beauty and the Beast on baritone, and maybe the chord melody too.
