philrab66ParticipantFound this easy so tried to add a few embellishments and keep the timing.
philrab66ParticipantHi Drew
Thanks for your detailed reply. Yes I do work on the timing because I know how important it is but when I try to match your speed on most songs it seems impossible to play up to speed.Should I get it up to speed before I move on to next bars?
Thanks Phil.June 9, 2017 at 4:58 pm in reply to: Ask Me ANY Ukulele Question for Chance to WIN a Kala Uke #12081

philrab66ParticipantWhen I learn a new song it seems like I am a beginner again starting from scratch. Did this happen to you if so what made the difference to when you could coast through most songs?

philrab66ParticipantHi Drew
Why do you not mention how much the premium membership is. I think it is such a good deal you should mention it more in your videos as people may shy away as they may think they are more expensive.

philrab66ParticipantIs your uke a concert? If yes why do you prefer concert size.

philrab66ParticipantI have really enjoyed the challenge. It has been nice to see others efforts I understand all your frustrations. One of the things I have learnt is the importance of timing. It is so frustrating not to be able to play the piece at the correct speed everybody wants to play fast straight away. But you must play it in time even if it is slow and build up . It does not sound good if you speed up at the easy bits and fumble through the hard bits. I have also found I can play almost anything on the lower frets as I have mainly stayed there for years.
Has anybody else got any tips or suggestions you have learnt through the challenges.

philrab66ParticipantHere is my embarrassing attempt at Fur Elise. I am so annoyed with the mess ups from C – G7 – Am7 I can change the chords no problem fluently but when I put them in this song I just mess up. Very frustrating

philrab66ParticipantMy latest effort not quite there yet. Lovely Etude but very long to learn
philrab66ParticipantHi Sheryl
I watch all my tabs just with the midi sound then you can adjust tempo to what you want. Also there is a count in two little arrows to left of screen gives you a few options count in , loop etc. Spend a few minutes clicking all the buttons to see what they do.
