becky7777ParticipantMarch Entry!!! 😉 March is my official month 6 playing uke!!! picture on soundcloud is my new TT. Love it.
The track below was an overall better entry, till it wasn’t.. so I just added onto the end where I lost my mind. (I was just going to enter this but wasn’t sure if this counted towards playing the entire song LOL!)
becky7777ParticipantWelcome Mollie!
becky7777Participant💙
becky7777ParticipantWelcome AJ!
becky7777ParticipantHappy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Biiirrthdayyyy dear Robin… Happy Birthday to you!

becky7777ParticipantStianukulele – I missed your entry. That zoom H4N is completely awesome! Looked it up and it looks like a really evil tazer lol. You played rose amazingly too! Hope to hear more.
Stinyuke and robins57- Amazing duets! Love the scenery you find too.
✨🎶💖🎶✨Casadot349- Great playing on rose! You have as good a chance as anyone to get picked since it’s random. Good luck! 👍😁
cncamacho- Really nice on Danny Boy!!!
becky7777ParticipantThat was awesome!!!
becky7777ParticipantAhhh curly you’re starting to nerd out with that building chords question! Yea! ((You made my morning lol!)) That *not nerdy* video on modes I shared covers it a little bit in an advanced form, but I realized a day or so after I posted it makes no sense unless people had started jumping down the theory rabbit holes… Sorry about those seemingly random videos btw people. I am officially stopped.
becky7777ParticipantCurlyuke- (I’m probably sooooo wrong here, so i’m sorry if I misunderstood too.) I just looked at Aura Lee and bar 5 is an F in the space in the sheet music? I’ve honestly been staying away from the music notation coarse like the plague with a sprinkling of ebola and anthrax… So take this with a grain of salt! I don’t know how many notes he covers per string either.
There’s a few F’s down there though. If it’s in first position i’m guessing it’s the one on the E string? A string would throw it too far up the neck. C string would take it out of Andrew’s first box position I think, into 2ond?
(All I remember from the little bit of violin like 30 years ago… is spaces in the staff spell
F A C E, and the lines are
(E)very (G)ood (B)oy (D)oes (F)ine… I read the staff with those words too so it takes me like 5 min per note while I process it.)(Quality qualifications right there for answering your question! Being sarcastic btw. I’d be wary of my answer too lol. 😁)
Edited to add I was typing and drinking coffee when you posted again curlyuke sorry!

becky7777ParticipantI have to wait to look at your tab because I have no room on my tablet for guitar pro (I really don’t want to delete my last 2 games) but Quadrat Im Kreis is a really cool song. Soon as I break out my laptop i’ll check it out! It’s got an old school feel to it. Thank you for sharing. 🙂
becky7777ParticipantI second Andrew’s sentiment! Please post a harp duet. Harps are gorgeous! I’ve actually been trying (badly) to emulate a harp sound on my uke which is partly the reason I started playing the finger style, style I kind of morphed into.
And welcome btw!!! Hope you both are having a blast visiting each other!

becky7777ParticipantThat wasn’t a harmonic btw. (I know right?!) That last note was just the g note on the 10th fret of the A string.
That particular note is the one this uke resonates to. The harmonics are pretty juicy but that g just makes the uke resonate and vibrate like crazy and it and just all out SINGS that g with everything it’s got. TT likes the 12th fret A note too but not as much as that particular g. Since Red is the Rose is in g I couldn’t help it. It had finally ended it’s journey I needed to let it sing it’s g! 😁
becky7777ParticipantWelcome Sara!!
