lisadmhParticipantWelcome! It seems like a lot of people get into it that way. Welcome to RC101. Enjoy poking around the site. Come check out the monthly challenge. We have lots of fun over there.
lisadmhParticipantOh man, that is awesome. I want to learn how to do what you just did. Inspiring.
lisadmhParticipantSounds great! For just a few weeks, that’s great progress. I started here just a couple weeks after getting my first uke too. There’s so much to learn. Take your time and had fun with it. Thanks for sharing!
lisadmhParticipantAh, one of the reasons I like doing this is that you guys remind me of what I want to work on.
I’m going to add goals inspired by you:
1. Staying relaxed while playing.
2. Writing at least one song that I actually like and keeping it in my playlist.
3. Arranging at least one song that I love and keeping it in my playlist.
4. Going on Facebook Live sometime on the beach this summer when I’m feeling really good about my set list. (this is a stretch goal!!!)Thanks for the ideas and cues, gang. We’re going to learn so much together this year. 🙂
lisadmhParticipantLove it! I’m working on this one too. It’s interesting in that it’s so simple, but so powerful too. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
lisadmhParticipantThanks AJ. Let us hear how it goes! 🙂
lisadmhParticipantThanks folks. 🙂 It’s always nice to share.
lisadmhParticipantHi there. Welcome to RC! There’s so much to learn around here. Check out the challenge that will be posted at the beginning of January. We have lots of fun submitting to challenges. See ya around. 🙂
lisadmhParticipantHas anyone requested Faded yet? This would be amazing. Just the sort of sound I’m looking for.
lisadmhParticipantHere’s the original by the way. I’m on baritone so the key is off, but you’ll get the idea.

lisadmhParticipantIt’s been fun watching so many entries pour in today. So many great takes of all the different songs!
@annefgodfrey, you have such a nice voice to listen to. The playing is great too. Very nice! Thanks for sharing, everyone, and happy holidays.
lisadmhParticipantHey there. Welcome, from Toronto. 🙂
lisadmhParticipantWhat a beautiful uke. It sounds great too! Thanks for sharing the building process. It must have been fun to watch. 🙂
lisadmhParticipantReally, more of the same would be amazing. I love what y’all do around here. You come up with things I never knew I wanted to learn, and I love them. Percussion sounds like fun. Mini lessons sound like fun too.
I will always ask for more in the alternative/indie genre. Please? 🙂 And just some mellow, meditative sort of low G/bari tunes to settle in with — there’s a sound I’m looking for right now but I don’t know what it’s called. I’ll try to find something for the requests thread. Mellow low G is always a highlight for me though.
Gi-Gi’s pedal idea is really interesting. It would require an investment, and I doubt I could get the timing spot on enough to make it sound decent, but it’s such an interesting thing – I would love that to be introduced. I’ll second that request.
I look forward to learning whatever interesting things you introduce in 2022. Thank you for all you do, @Andrew and the whole RC team.
lisadmhParticipantKilling me softly, please
