Here’s my entry. I added a swing because I like swing. Please tell if this bad. I can repost straight if preferred.
Also, I’d love feedback on how to make it smoother. It sounds much choppier on playback than does in my head but haven’t the foggiest clue how make it better.

Is People Are Strange on your list by chance? I heard it on a Facebook uke post the other day and LOVED it but all I can find is boring chord tabs. Nothing like your arrangements.
I’ll be off the grid for the next week and a half so this is good it’s going to get. Not perfect, and slow, but it feels fast to my newbie fingers.

I have more questions. I’ve been trying to learn Uke Blues and I’m having a few issues with it.
1) How do I do the blues swing? It’s not represented in the tabs and I can’t use a metronome with it. Any tips to help me get the timing of this song?
2) In the same song, my version based on the tabs doesn’t sound the same at all as your recorded version. It’s like there are extra notes you’re playing sometimes, or skipping notes, and not always doing the slaps, compared to the tab? Is there something I’m missing?Thank you!

How do I make a hammer on ring out? I can get pull offs to sound decent but my hammer ons are virtually silent despite viewing video instructions. What am I missing?

Here’s my submission of In the Hall of the Mountain King. I’m super excited that I found a friend to do the harmony with me in a duet. I can play faster than this, but we decided to keep it slow for a clean, easy recording.
I don’t have enough frets to play melody 4, so I do 1-2-3-2-5.
Thanks for this contest Andrew. Super fun, and it pushed me to clean up a song more than I usually would.
