I’m a premium member.
It’s an easy song, but getting the rubato right is hard. I tried. What do you think?

@surferjay, it’s an Outdoor Ukulele. It’s the uke that gets the most use for me because I love playing outside.My biggest lightbulb moment was understanding the CAGED method. That made me understand the entire ukulele better.
My biggest lightbulb skill development was getting the arpeggiated strum down. That gave me a sound I like so much better in so many cases. Really nice.
@surferjay, yes, it’s recorded straight up on my phone propped up in the sand, no fancy settings. 🙂
@madz_about_uke, there’s nothing like the uke with the waves in the background!@Robinboyd, I agree. Being able to play on a tropical beach like that is the reason I practice all year.
Thanks folks! It was a lovely time on the beach. I love that I can sit and play things reasonably well for such a stretch of time. It helps when some stranger sits near me, lol.
Bumble, the mistakes are definitely there. I’m glad they weren’t terribly obvious!
I really tried to get this up to speed but I just can’t do it. It sounds great at full speed. I did my best!
