Thanks @lakeside339! Yes, Outdoor Ukulele brand, tenor size with a low-G string. Feels and plays great, and has a nice bright sound!

I AM A PREMIUM MEMBER

I started learning Helen’s Theme right when it was posted (thanks for the hint that it would be on this month’s challenge!). I really enjoyed working on it, including listening to the original on piano. Here is my Halloween-inspired video:

p.s. Yay for an early submission! Does anyone else find it hard to focus on more than one song at a time? I’ll be setting this one aside to work on something new now — maybe the Introduction to Music Theory & Jamming course.

Whereabouts in Germany are you? I’m Canadian but my mom is from Germany (so I’m half!). Her entire family still lives there, in the Black Forest/Berghaupten/Offenburg/Ortenberg/Schutterwald areas.

Thanks @becky7777! It was a crafty project for me a few years back and now serves as our family’s growth chart — updated every year on the kids’ birthdays. Seemed like an appropriate background for the song 😉
