@kanae926 – Thank you Kanae, you’re so kind! You and I share similar issues (sticky fingers and multiple takes) — it’s nice when we realize we’re not alone. Keep up the good work; I enjoy your videos!

@gaevdl, @chirimoya – We were all beginners once too and always have something we can work on. The best part about these challenges is the feedback we get from Andrew and his team. Keeps us moving forward! Uke on!

I wasn’t planning on trying a Level 3 song just yet, but this one called to me. Here’s to a month of hard (but rewarding!) work with Stand By Me. Nice work everyone!

Thanks Andrew! Will do. I did see Katie’s singing tips and appreciated the visuals of flickering candles and air coming out the top like a dolphin. I also found this video to be useful for practice/warm ups (for anyone out there hoping to sing high):

Guess what song I heard while watching the second season of Fargo? Danny Boy! It’s funny how things line up sometimes. I didn’t know this song until I started the challenge at the beginning of March. Now I’ve probably sung it over 150 times. Hitting that high note is HARD!

Here is my recording, featuring my new Outdoor Ukulele. I thought the green tied in well with the Irish theme.

I’ve really enjoyed watching everyone’s submissions so far. Well done!

Thanks for the feedback, Stephen! I will keep that in mind to play the low G notes louder. I am slowly but surely working on Bourrée, and yes, learning the picado technique. A fun challenge!

Thanks @stinyuke and @rickeymike! I grew up hearing the tune at church in French, so I always hear it as “Quel est l’enfant qui est né ce soir…”

I really enjoyed this course! I learned so much and not a single tab was used. Here is my recording of Greensleeves. I am starting the unit on Bourrée tomorrow.

Thanks for the feedback, Andrew. Will work on a more relaxed feel for Etude no.13. Maybe all those extra takes for Chopsticks helped to solidify the performance.
