@soraya06 Your version sounds beautiful and you did it in a day? 🙃 Wow. I practice it (the easier version) for days and days now and don’t get it done finally.
I must say…you’re a great player – and no, I didn’t find the time to practice your song though I started immediately after you posted the chords. I will try every now and then when I find the time.

    Hi Andrew,

I misunderstood where to find it. I thought it was a single file attached like the background piano files. Now I found it in the tab player and thats what I like most.
    Thank you so much.
If there are single ukulele tracks from both of Katies songs I would really appreciate if you could upload them as well.
Looking forward to improve with your help. 🙂

    Thanks Andrew,

my Safari Browser shows no Uke only file.
Yes, I know that I can switch to synthetic. I used this with Katies pieces when there is voice in the background because I really don’t how a voice sounds when speed is slowed down. But I must say, I don’t like the synthesizer sound also. 🙃
I only use it when nothing else works for me. 🤔

    Have a nice day

    Wow, Soraya06,

I’m more than impressed. You already manage to play MOON!?! Unbelievable.
I love this song so much and after a while of hesitating I decided to start trying but haven’t finished yet because the rhythm is far beyond my level. I’m a slow learner though I had a time when I practiced very much. But I love the beginning of this song and I can play that and this makes me happy too. So from time to time I will continue and in the meantime I try to learn easier songs.

THANK YOU for writing down your song for us. How kind of you. I gave the first chords a try – then listened to your version and mine sounds different. Perhaps I misunderstood something but I will try again later and hopefully find out what the problem is because the picking pattern is not so difficult and should be playable for me.

Once again thank you for your answer. I really do appreciate that.
Keep on writing such lovely music.

You just play for four months? Unbelievable.
Great melody and picking pattern. I really like it.
Perhaps you would like to share it?

    Hi Andrew,
would it be possible to have an own soundtrack (?) for the ukulele melody next time? For me it is very difficult to hear exactly what the ukulele melody is when it is accompanied by another instrument such as the piano this time.
If I want to use the on screen tab viewer I only have the chance to switch to the Synthesizer mode. So I can’t hear the complete melody played by the ukulele – but that would be a great help developing my ear.
Hope you can understand what I’m talking about.
    Greetings from Germany.

Thinking of you, Anne and Tom. And I wish you all the best in the world, Tom.

Andrew, what a nice idea. And I believe that playing music helps, perhaps just a little, but it helps in hard times.

    Hello Morrieuke1,

thank you for sharing your PDF. As I’m more to a beginner than to intermediate I gave it a try at once and found it pretty good for me. But I don’t understand the very last notes.
There are 2 F chords and you have written:
    1 next 819

I have no idea how to play this 819 and even if it would be a typing mistake 1 instead of 7 – to my ear this sounds strange. Could you please explain with easy words how to play as I’m no native speaker.

Thank you and have a great weekend.

    Hi Katie,

welcome to Rock Class 101. I saw your video yesterday in the evening and I already told you on your own channel that you are a fantastic singer – though I hoped that Andrew would do the singing job… no, that was a joke.
I hope you will create lessons that are more to the advanced beginner though. This one seems too difficult for me.
I’m a 56 year old woman living in Germany. So please excuse for any mistakes made here.

I wish you all the best for your collaboration with Rock Class.

    Hi biggoomba,
I would like to play this as well as I love this song a lot. I checked this site immediately after reading your post but I did not find it here, so my question, have you had a tutorial for this song or how did you learn it?

Though I didn’t hear you playing I would like to leave my compliments.
And by the way… it’s a really cool idea to take your uke with you when going to work… 👍

    Hi Andrew,

now it all works fine on my system and I like that there is an icon next to the song so that I know that this special “song” is from the course list.
Thanks. I do like the favorite list – makes things a lot easier.

    Hi Andrew,
I just noticed your message and gave it another try.

What I found is that it is working fine on my MacBook with Safari if I add a SONG!!! to the collection.
If I add a piece of music out of the fingerpicking course, e.g. Thumb Etude, it will be listed under my favs but if I click on it, it can’t find the file.
I receive the same error message I reported on august, 8th:
“It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.”

    Hope this will help
    Rici
