The key Katie is singing in is all sorts of tricky. I might cheat and use a capo to make it more comfortable.

@becky7777 – I know exactly what you mean about the lyrics of ukulele anthem. I won’t touch that one with a ten foot pole! I just get tongue tied, even when I have the lyrics in front of me. At least this one was just aaaahs and oooohs.@nggnmmm – What happened to the rest of your duet of Moon with Hotmilktea? I was really looking forward to that…
@lyndallk – I’m glad you liked the separate themes. For me, it was just a matter of keeping myself motivated by tackling bite-sized pieces. I think I would have given up if I had to do it all in one go from the outset.I AM A PREMIUM MEMBER.
We managed to do the full thing. There are a few mistakes, but I suppose that’s to be expected with such a long song.

I was just thinking how nice it would be to do a vocal arrangement of Blackbird by the Beatles now that you have Katie here helping you out. The trouble with most of the versions I can find online is that they are just chords and I’d really like to give it some pizzazz.

I have no idea. I record on my phone, and I don’t think it has that sort of effect (you tell me!). I use an Android, though.
That’s a really interesting tone that the mike brings out Lyndall. It makes your uke sound almost like a banjo!
Well done Anne! That piece is so long that it’s really tough to get through. I tried to record it last night, but it fell apart near the end.

@Sprintingyogini – Both of us singing? We’d want to work out harmonies, then, and I don’t think we’ll manage that by the end of the month. If we win a Skype lesson with Taimane, though, maybe we could work them out together with Taimane. That would be pretty awesome!
