I know what you mean. Tiffany has been playing that one this month, and she was been finishing on the 0007 version of C. Give it a go.
@lisadmh – The water is always a bit chilly, but it’s quite pleasant when the weather is hot. We are just heading into summer, so we should get a few nice days soon.

@becky7777 – That sounds awful. You’d be able to see the water from our house if there weren’t so many trees. Lots of nice beaches nearby. I don’t know how I’d cope in your position!

You are way braver than I am. You have way more stuff memorised, too. I only have about 3 or 4 songs in my head right now. I don’t have any tips, but good luck!
I’ve seen them in videos, but not in person. From what I understand they are 8-string instruments but the fretboard only extends under the top 4 strings, so the bottom 4 are meant to be played unfretted (like a harp). They are nifty little contraptions.
Sheryl, you’ve captured how it goes perfectly! Even the recording of Moon last month had the cat knocking things over in the background, and it was the third day in a row we had tried to record because I kept having weird mental blanks where I’d totally forget where I am. We eventually gave up 2 days in a row and then used the first recording on the third day.
I have a question for Katie if she’s around.
I would like to sing gloooooooooooooooria in one breath, and I can… as long as I’m not playing the uke. I don’t know what it is about playing, but I don’t seem to manage the same breath support. Do you have any tips?
