AndrewKeymasterHere’s everyone on page 4 I haden’t gotten to.
@leb397 – That was a fantastic take! The only thing I’d recommend is to practice slower to focus on the clarity of each note/chord. Then slowly build it back up to the current tempo. As for the clicking sound, do you mean your right hand finger nail(s)? If so, that’s natural. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. But you could trim your nails if you want to lesson the impact sound they create when hitting the body/neck.
@mark65536 – Another one knocked outta the park, Mark (and twin lol)! And bravo on the tempo, very impressive!
@brettboy & @shmu88 – Bravo! Amazing take guys! Was an honor to share it in our newsletter today 🙂September 30, 2022 at 3:42 pm in reply to: Participate in the September 2022 Member Challenge: WIN Pineapple Ukulele! #53884

AndrewKeymasterUnfortunately, AJ’s out of the country until late October so we wouldn’t be able to. If you jump to 39:40 in the lesson, I covered how to voice the chords on ukulele to turn it into a ukulele only duet. Hopefully that gives you some ideas on how to voice the chords on piano 🙂

AndrewKeymaster@misterbones – Bravo! Brilliant take, one of the best I’ve heard from you to date! There’s only a couple spots that I’d work on syncing the groove a little tighter. First was 24 to 48 seconds (in your performance) and 1:42 to 1:54 (strumming part over the solo). Rest was solidly locked in with a great feel. Well done!
@lhamilton – Very nice playing, Linda! I want you to try something with this song. Play along with a click and try to groove a little behind the beat.
@madz_about_uke – PM is only needed for K giveaways 🙂Song sounds great! But the motion for this technique should come from the wrist/forearm, not the up/down movement of the index finger’s joint. The wrist/forearm will give you a greater speed that can’t be duplicated by the method you are using.
AndrewKeymasterBravo 👏

AndrewKeymaster@rafaela – That was an excellent take! Great playing throughout all the parts. Keep working on increasing the speed. From what I hear, 75% doesn’t sound that far away 🙂

AndrewKeymaster@madz_about_uke – Bravo! Excellent performance 👏
@turkgoose – I went back to listen to your original recording from April of 2020. And the difference was apparent from the start. Your playing shows much more confidence and is more defined in articulation. These are improvements that only come with time. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s working!September 21, 2022 at 1:18 pm in reply to: Participate in the September 2022 Member Challenge: WIN Pineapple Ukulele! #53757
AndrewKeymaster@ccwuke – That rocked, Chris! And so cool to hear about the class! I used to run a “rock band” program alongside a drum and bass teacher and at the end of it, we also booked a real venue for the kids to perform at. It was so much fun! Good luck with the gigs!
